fans think that the latest trailer for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Tears of the Kingdom confirmed that Prince Sidon h🅷as taken over as King of the Zoras, replacing his father, Dorephan.
We're just one month away from Tears of the Kingdom and Nintendo marked that occasion earlier today by sharing the final trailer for the game, which 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:gave us a look at Ganondorf, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:what appears to be dungeons, and a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:ton of different gameplay mechanics that show just how different this adven🦋ture will be from Breath of the W♚ild.
The gameplay features might have been the highlight of the trailer, but there were also some neat hints at what Tears of the Kingdom's story will be all about and how its characters have changed since the last game. Take Prince Sidon for exa🐼mple, who is seen at several points throughout the trailer, both within cutscenes and fighting alongside Link in several gameplay sequences. , it appears that Sidon is no longer a prince, and is now the king of the Zoras.
The evidence behind this is pretty simple - Sidon is now wearing the crown that we saw his father, Dorephan, wear during Breath of the Wild. ﷽There's really no other reason that Sidon would be wearing the crown unless he's been made king, so it's a pretty solid theory. Sidon is also noticeably more serious in the trailer and looks to be a little bit older, supporting the theory further.
It seems pretty set in stone that Sidon is now king, but the situation does still raise some interesting questions about Tears of the Kingdom. For starters, how much time has passed in between Breath of the Wild and the seq🍌uel? Zelda's shorter haircut implied there was a bit of a time difference, but Sidon being crowned king of the Zoras is a bigger indication that there's been a timeskip of sorts.
Sidon being king also has us questioning what's happened to Dorephan. On the one hand, he could have just voluntarily given his crown to Sidon because of the dangers facing Hyrule and his ol🐼d age preventing him from getting too involved in the battle. He did tell Sidon he'd make a good king when the time was right, after all.
On the other hand, it's also possible that Dorephan has passed away in the time between Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdo𓃲m, either from old age or some kind of attack from Ganondorf. Dorephan ruled, though, so lඣet's hope it was a voluntary passing of the torch.
