Throughout your adventures across Hryule in The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom, you'll come ac🍒ross many large rifts and dungeons that need to be cleared out. Each one offers challenges and rewards for your troubles, but not all of them can be found on the beaten path.

Hidden dungeons and bosses can be found when you explore, and not all of them are obvious. Here, we'll show you where to find and start the Le🐼t's Play A Game quest, and we'll also teach you how to defeat the formidable boss within. It's not like other bosses, but with a bit of p๊atience, you can emerge victorious!
Where To Find The Eastern Temple In Hyrule
From Hyrule Castle, head east over the river. Follow along the road southeast until you come across a sign telling you that the Eastern Temple is up ahead. You'll need to head south of the field of rocks to reach the temple!
Be wary of the Boarblins and Bokoblins patrolling the temple!
Take the stairs up to the temple entrance. You'll find a researcher here saying that there's a voice coming from inside the temple. It asks to play a g🎃ame and the researcher r🐼efuses to head inside.
You, however, are free to enter at any time.
How To Solve The Puzzles
Within the temple, you'll encounter several rooms with puzzles involving sparks. These shock🧜ing monsters won't reduce your health, but they will stun you for a short period.
If you defeat them, you can learn the Spark echo!
In the first room, two of them move synchronously to block the door to the next chamber. Bind Tri to one (or both) and move them anywhere else in the room. Drop them into the abyss if you'd like.
In the next chamber, there are three Sparks roaming around in different places. A yellow box in the upper lefthand corner is your goal. You'll want to get each of the Sparks inside here to unlock the door up ahead.
One of the ꧟Sparks is already on track tꦗo enter the box when you enter!
Use echoes like Boulder to block paths and redirect the Sparks. Otherwise, bind Tri to them and ♛manually align them with the box. Th🐠e door will open once this is done!
In the third room, you'll need to get the two Sparks here into the yell🐼ow box as well, but the Sparks are moving quickly in opposite directions. You'll need to do the following to 🅷help them reach the box:
- Clear a path to the ramp so one can take it and glide through the air to reach the box.
- Bind Tri to the other and manually insert it into the box.
The door to the west will open, allowing you to proceed. You can also head into the eastern chamber to try your hand at unlocking a treasure chest.
In the eastern chamber, use Tri to summon Spark echoes at a distance and get them in the yellow box!
This last chamber on the floor is straightforward. You can simply take the ladder down into the depths, but you can also retrieve the treasure chest surrounded by Sparks. Drop them in the chasm or bind Tri to the treasure chest and bring it closer.
Once you take the ladder down, continue along the path to the east through the water.
Watch out 🅘for the Sparks once theyℱ enter the water, as it will be electrified.
After reaching the next chamber, you'll have a moment to prepare in a safe area before confronti💞ng the voice from within the temple.
How To Defeat Smog
Smog is a massive electric cloud you'll need to defeat, but you can't touch him. He moves around the dungeon floor in a pattern, but you can easily disrupt it by blocking his path.
The best thing to do is corner Smog in a small area, like the center square, using boulders and careful spacing. Switch into swordfighter mode and fire the Bow of Might at Smog until his health is whittled down.
If you don't have the Bow of Might, any ranged echo or item you can throw works just as well!
After his health is brought down, Smog will split into several smaller clouds. You won't be able to do any damage to him in this state, but he can still stun you.
To make Smog whole again, you'll need to direct the smaller clouds so that they run into each other. Once all the clods have joined up, Smog will be vulnerable again.
Rinse and repeat this process for the third round, where there will be even more clouds to reunite. After you've done this and slain Smog in his third stage, the boss will admit defeat and award you victory for the game.
In addition to a ton of rupees, you'll also obtain a piece of a heart. If ꦐyou collect four, your maxim♎um health will increase!
