Heart Pieces in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Legend of Zelda series have been a staple prize since the earliest days of the franchise, often being rewards for players exploring the world of Hyrule or simply engaging in a time-wasting mini-game. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:A Link Between Worlds, the successor to the SNES classic 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:A Link to the Past, brings these prizes back, with a total of 28 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Heart Pieces being scattered across both Hyrule and Lorule.
While many of these Heart Pieces can be easy to find, particularly if players are familiar with their 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:locations in A Link to the Past, some of them are far more difficult to obtain. These pieces can often mean the difference between Link's successfully completing his quest or dying at the hands of Ganon, as well as some of the harder optional bosses.
10 🌄 Big Bomb Flower
The Big Bomb Flower in Lorule is used as a part of the storyline to gain access to the Swamp Palace, though it also has a secondary use to simply 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:open a small cave in Lorule. Once Link is able to freely use the Big Bomb Flower, guide it south one frame, then up and around the ma🧸p until the south opens up again, taking it to the same location where the twin statues flank a fake wall in Hyrule. This Heart Piece is mainly hard to get because if the Big Bomb Flower is hit even once, it will explode. This can be circumvented by merging with a wall, which will stop the flower from moving until Link interacts with it again, allowing him to kill all of the monsters before moving forward.
9 Ru♒pee Rush 🍷
The Rupee Rush mini-game is simple in theory, but hard to execute without outside assistance. The aim of the game is to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:collect 100 rupees before the 30 second timer runs꧟ out. The only catch is that there is no visible timer, so players will either have to count accuratelꦐy or use a watch. Link will also be given a multiplier the closer he is to the 30 second mark when he returns to Rupee Rush Gal, with a 2x multiplier if there are 2 seconds left and a 3x multiplier if there is 1 or fewer seconds left on the clock.
8 ꦫ Lorule Rupee Rush 𒁃
This functions exactly li﷽ke the Rupee Rush game in Hyrule and is found in the same place, but it is a little harder. Link is still given only 30 seconds, although this time he needs to collect 150 rupees in total while navigating vertical platforms and dodging enemies.
The same multipliers that are given in the Hyrule version of this mini-game apply here as well, meaning players only need to find 75 rupees to guarantee victory and win the Heart Piece. Without the Sand Rod, this mini-game is nearly impossible to complete, so it is recommended that the Thieve's Hideout is completed before attempting this.
7 Thieve's Town
This Heart Piece isn't hard to obtain, but it is very easy to miss if players aren't exploring every nook and cranny of the world. From behind the large building in the northern side of Kakariko Village, merge with the back wall of the house and pass through the rift to Lorule. From there, merge with the eastern wall and follow it along past the bottomless pit to find the Heart Piece hiding on the other side of the house.
6 Fortune's Choice
The Fortune's Choice mini game plays a lot like the treasure chest game in Ocarina of Time, but without the Lens of Truth so Link can cheat his way to victory. For a rather pricey 200 rupees per try, Link is allowed to open three different chests from a selection of 15, with a chance to find a Heart Piece inside one. This is more a matter of luck than anythin🌼g else and can cause players to burn through their money very quickly. This is probably one that players will have to return to every now and then for another attempt, unless they want to grind fo☂r rupees.
5 Racing ♈Bros.
This one isn't particularly difficult, but it will take multiple attempts to learn the most efficient route and timing for using the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pegasus Boots. After beating the first challenge time, Link will be given the option to make the run again, though this time he won't be given as much time. After completing the second run, Link will be given a Heart Piece for his trouble.
4 🎶 Lorule Sanctuary
Like the Heart Piece hiding in Thieve's Town, this one isn't hard to find but it very easy to miss, as Link doesn't need to return to the Sanctuary after gaining the merge ability. In the same location that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Princess Zelda was found,🌠 there will be a rift to Lorule once Link has the ability to go there which leads to a Heart Piece.
After coming out of the Lorule Sanctuary cave, head east until there is a ladder leading up to a bombable wall, with a rift hiding behind it. Bomb the wall and head 🐎through the rift to reach an otherwise unreachable platform, with the Heart Piece sitting on top.
3 Death Mountain 🌄
This Heart Piece is the first of two difficult platforming sections that lead to a Heart Piece. From the Tower of Hera, head east and cr𝔉oss the broken bridge using the Hookshot, then continue east until Link reaches a cave marked with a sign. After doing the more simple platforming sections to reach the Lynel, there w🌼ill be some more moving platforms behind the west wall that require the Hammer to activate jump pads. The hardest part of this is learning the timing of when the pads will activate, as one wrong move will cause Link to plummet to his death and players will have to start the entire section all over again.
2 Ice Ruins
In the same location on the map as the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Death Mountain cave, there will be an icy version in Lorule that leads to the Ice Ruins. Follow the moving platforms, but take the western platform rather than the northern one that leads to the ruins and follow the route to the end, using the Tornado Rod to change platforms. After coming out of the cave there will be a 🃏pillar with a rift, merge with the pillar and go back to Hyrule to find t🥃he previously inaccessible Heart Piece.
1 🔥 Octoball Derby
This mini-game proves once and for all that Link should stick to defending Hyrule from dark forces, and not become a career baseball player. To win this Heart Piece, Link will have to get 100 rupees by hitting objects and enemies with a baseball, though that is easier said than done. If players manage to hit three pots in a row, a crow will appear which grants 20 points if they🍸 manage to hit it with a ball, though it can 𓆉often be missed entirely and lose the player valuable time and energy. This mini-game is simply a trial and error distraction that can grow frustrating very fast.
