How To Upgrade Armor

In Tears of the Kingdom, armor upgrades work much like they did in Breath of the Wild, with the Great Fairies w𒅌illing to upgrade your armor sets - for a progressively larger fee and more complicated items for each level of defense.

There are four total stages of armor upgrades, and each stage boosts the armor's defense by a certain amount. Naturally, the higher the number listed below the item, the better the defense.

There are also four Great Fairies in Tears of the Kingdom, and for each one you awaken from her slumber, all unlocked Great Fairies can enhance your armor by one additional level.

For instance, if you've unlocked two Fairies so far, both of them will then be able to enhance your armor by two levels total. You'll need all four Fairies to max out your armor sets.

Each time, you'll pay in Rupees as well as materials, and the cost stays the same no matter what else the Fairies may request, no matter which Fairy you visit.

Great Fairy Armor Upgrade Prices (In Rupees)
