Although it has been severely overhauled for the sequel, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Tears of the Kingdom's Hyrule is incredibly similar to the one many of us traversed in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Breath of the Wild. Certainly not a bad thing, and turns out the map isn't the only thing that has been carried over from the prior game either. All of your horses are in the new Hyrule waiting for you, kept safe in their stables until it was time to begin your new adventure.
appears to have made the heartwarming discovery that all our old horses have made the leap to Tears of the Kingdom (thanks, ). It seems that you can't simply wander up to one of Hyrule's many stables to find your trusty steeds, though. You will first need to tame a horse and request to board it, at which point the stable owner's memory will be jogged.
Link will be told they have entrusted a horse with the stable before, at which point you will be shown all of your old horses from Breath of the Wild. Not just carried over in name alone, but their stats and bond will remain intact too. This does only happen if you're playing Tears of the Kingdom on the same Switch that holds your Breath of the Wild save though, of course. If you're playing on a fancy new Zelda OLED then your old horses aren't coming with you.
While a lot of discoveries have been made during Tears of the Kingdom's first 48 hours, that Link's old horses can join them on their new adventure appears to be the first example of progress carrying over from Breath of the Wild. It's certainly not a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mass Effect level of cross-game progression, but in a game where Link appears to have forgotten all of their abilities and had to learn new ones, it's a surprise anything you did in the first game has made the leap to the sequel.
You might be riding around a familiar Hyrule on the same horse, but make no mistake, Tears of the Kingdom is a very different game. A new story awaits and, as mentioned above, Link has a few new abilities to get their head around. Included in those abilities is ascend which lets the hero shoot up through ceilings, 168澳洲幸运🍌5开奖网:a feature that started life as a debug cheܫat, but the developers hated backtracking so much they decided to permanently add it to the game. There's also ultrahand, an ability some o♏f you used to make giant robots wi🉐th flamethrowers for dicks almost immediately, because of course you did.
