How To Start Who Goes There
Poke around the Emergency Shelter at Lookout Landing, where you'll notice Jerrin has a quest꧃ marker above her head. Approach her and hear what she has to say.
She'll go on about a strange voice she wants you to investigate coming from a hole in the wall. Jerr𓂃in believes it's a demon of some sort, but we'll see about that.
Look behind Jerrin to spot the hole she's referring to; it's a sma🐷ll 𒉰Link-sized hole that you can crouch through. As you approach, you'll begin to hear the voice yourself.
Following The Voice
Once you step inside the hole and move forward, you'll see you're in the Royal Hidden Passage as the discovery pops up.
Ahead of you, the cave has been sealed by a bunch of fallen boulders blocking your way.
Grab a stone hammer to clear the way opening up the passage before you.
Bomb ar🌌rows, stone hammers, or certain abilities – like Riju's lightning strike – can all break the stones blocking your p🐎ath.
Now there will be a fork with two more paths blocked by fallen stones. Behind the right path, you'll begin to hear more beckonings from the strange voice.
Break the stones in the way and enter the room with the statue in it. Interact with it to hear how excite💮d 🐠it is to see you.
A Bargain With A Statue
Now you'll be face-to-face with a strange stone statue who wants to make a deal with you.
Once it finishes talking, the statue will take one of Link's heart containers and laugh about still having its touch.
The dialogue will end, and a new quest, "A Deal With The Statue" w💞ill pop up. Continue talking to the statue to finish it while you do🔥 "Who Goes There?"
You can ask for your heart container back or exchange it for a stamina upgrade instead.
This introduces you to the essence-swapping mechanic where you can exchange heart containers for stamina and vice versa if you regret your choices. You can read more about the mechanic fromꦛ our♔ guide.
Once you receive your essence back, the other quest, "A Deal With The Statue" will be completed.
Exit the passage and return to Jerrin.
Quest Rewards
When you return to Jerrin and tell her about your findings, she will explain the nature of the horned statue and reward you for your detective work.
If you return to the cave and follow the left path, you will find a Like Like that will drop their when defeated. Use it in Elixirs.
You'll receive 20 Rupees for your troubles and a new mechanic to use whenever you꧒ see fit.
