6 Gleeoks
Tears of the Kingdom served as an introduction to this classic Zelda enemy for a lot of people. This multi-headed dragon has a long lineage, appearing in the first 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Legend of Zelda game. It has ཧbeen used sparingly since, findin🦋g homes on some handheld Zelda titles, like Phantom Hourglass. While the original incarnation of the Gleeok and the Tears of the Kingdom variation have three heads, they sometimes appear with only two. Traditionally a boss, these dragons have always caused Link issues.
That’s no different here. In Tears of the Kingdom, Gleeoks are boss-level enemies found 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:all across the map, coming in three elemental variations: fire, ice, and lightning, depending on their location. In the Depths and the Sky, you can also run into a King Gleeok, where each head uses a different elemental power. The worst part about Gleeoks is how they feel like a little bit of a trick — everyone remembers how cool gliding around the Breath of the Wild dragons was — so, sur🌃ely these guys are just as chill... right?
5 Gibdos
Previously, Gib𝓰dos were presented as reanimated corpses that took the appearance of the classic mummy. Like their unsettling brethren, the ReDeads, they had an uncanny ability to scar every child who came into contact with them — especially their N64 incarnations, which shared the ReDeads’ deep, endless groans that so quickly turned into chilling screams that froze you, and Link, in place. They were nightmares incarnate. And they could always get back up.
Well, great news! Gibdos are back with designs that evoke the masked, rotting ReDeads, just with chittering mouths. Fortunately, thanks to their new status as humanoid bug creatures, complete with a hive and a queen, they stay dead when they’re down, though getting them down is a bit of a learning curve. They definitely fit Tears of the Kingdom's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:decidedly spookier aesthetic.
4 Gohma
While we’ve never seen this incarnation of Gohma, it shares the motifs and weaknesses of the bosses we’ve come to associate with the name. Gohma is a recurring boss in the series, usually as an arachnid or arthropod with one massive eye begging for an arrow in its center. They’re usually early bosses — creatures to teach you the ropes of boss combat, weaknesses, and the impo♑rt꧙ance of movement.
Marbled Gohma is a little different from previous versions just by virtue of being made of stone. Still bug-like in appearance, it scuttles along with its myriad of legs, its singular, jutting eye practically inviting you to shoot.🗹 It’s a twist on something 𒊎familiar — and it is kind of nice to see Gohma again, even if it’s a bit of a pain to beat.
3 Like Like
An upright, squirming, sludge-like creature that can swallow you whole might seem unthreatening, but its inability🦋 to move affects you in a different, yet no less annoying, way. Their mouths are big enough to swallow poor Link whole, but he’s not the main course — in fact, they just spit him right back out, like the Hylian is an insult to their palate.
No, what Like Likes, well, like, are shields. In previous games, they’d gobble up any shield that wasn’t one-of-a-kind and spit Link back up a little worse for wear. They were easy to avoid and generally only took a little bit of health — it was replacing the shield that was a pain, especially in Zelda games where the wallet had to be upgraded. Now, Like Likes are a lot more dangerous, as they throw projectiles at you, ranging from rocks to lightning bolts, and then eat you up, robbing you of some of your equipment,𒁃 with the only way to retrieve it is to defeat the things. At least you get a treasure chest in the end🌞.
2 Phantom 🐈Ganon
Now here’s a face we haven’t seen in a while. Phantom Ganon was always an intriguing boss — a little preview of what fighting the real thing would be like. A malicious spirit was made manifest, all to destroy Link before he could further jeopardize Ganon’s plans. Making his first appearance in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ocarina of Time as the boss🌌 of the Forest Temple, he hasn’t been seen since Four Swords Adventure almost 20 years ago.
You could consider the Blight Ganons of Breath of the Wild a variation of Phantom Ganon, but they don’t have the same gravitas. They’re aspects of Ganon, not collaborators — Phantom Ganon is its own entity, as intimidating, as smart, as the real thing. In Tears of the Kingdom, Phantom Ganon can be one of the final bosses… or you could 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:defeat some Gloom Hands that spawn into this c🐽orpse-like d🐼oppelganger. How’s that for a surprise?

The king has returned. Sure, Calamity Ganon was your main adversary in Breath of the Wild, but when was the last time you saw the human side of the Demon King?
