They note that Mattison, the daughter of Hudson and Rhondson from Breath of the Wild, is the best indicator for the time gap since she wasn't born in the first game and🐻 therefo💙re must be an indicator of a timegap.
Although Mattison says that i🦄t could be eight years between the two games, . Factoring in conception and birth (things I didn't expect to write in this article𒁃), this seems to indicate that it's been around five years between Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
Mattison's age isn't mentioned in-game, but that theory makes a lot of sense when working with the lore. Mattison isn't the only indicator of the timegap as Tulin, the son of Teba, was also shown in both games and is considerably older in Tears of the Kingdom. Again, Tulin's age is never mentioned in-game,♌ but Tulin's growth does make a five-year time gap seem rather likely.
Another key hint at the time difference between the two games is something we've reported before - that Link can now have an alcoholic drink in Gerudo Town after🎶 being rejected it in Breath of the Wild. We hav𝄹e no clue what the drinking age is in Gerudo Town but it's yet another hint that a 𒊎significant amount of time has passed and makes it more likely that it's five years and not two like some fans have suggested.
