This week is no exception either, as u/Deep-Ad-9064 recently shared a video of themselves piloting a working submarine to the HyruleEngineering subreddit, a place where like-minded Tears of the Kingdom fans go to show off their zany inventions. In the video, we see the player circle their inventiཧon a few times to give us a good look at it, before getting inside and activating it.
The device then slowly sinks into the water via the power of a bunch of fans, drifting underneath an understandably baffled Lizalfos, before emerging at the other side of the lake with Link completely in tact, albeit a bit wet. The only real problem with the submarine is that it can't be controlled, meaning you simply have to drift underneath the lake and hope that the current or fans take you to the other side safely. Unfortunately, a drivable submarine doesn't seem to be possible at the time of writing.
As for how Link doesn't drown in this submarine that clearly has a bunch of holes in it, someone explains that the only way that Link loses stamina while in the water is by swimming. Since he's being pushed by the submarine, Link is technically just treading water, meaning his stamina never goes down and he doesn't succumb to a watery grave. It doesn't have much usage outside of confusing Lizalfos, but it's still a pretty impressive feat of engineering and might be the first submarine that Link can ride without dying.
In other Tears of the Kingdom tomfoolery, another player recently discovered a very simple way of earni𓂃ng a bunch of rupees by duplicating frozen meat. All you need to do is grab a bunch of weapons, fuse a piece of meat to each one, and then stick them together with Ultrahand. Once you've done that, you can head on over to an extremely cold environment, use your Autobuild ability to pull out the schematic, and watch all the frozen meat you can carry simply fall from the air, which you can then sell for a tidy profit.
