Although 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Medium may not be a particularly long game, with most players being able to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:finish it within seven to eight hours, there are many aspects of the title that players can very easily miss, especially if they don't intend to play the⭕ game more than once. Replaying The Medium may lack the mystery and intrigue that a first time playthrough has, but it also means that you will see things you missed the first time around.
The fact that there are also several areas in the game that players can run past without affecting the flow of the game also means that some players may miss out on crucial information on the world and the people through documents, Memory Shaꦑrds, and Echoes that aren't needed 💜to progress through the game.
10 Marianne’s Powers Aren’t Like Her Families
By the end of the game, it is revealed that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Thomas is Marianne's father and Lilianne is her older sister, with all three members of the family having some kind of medium power. While Thomas and Lilianne's powers seem to be centered around manipulating spirits by severing them from someone's body or from their own body, Marianne's pow🌄ers are completely different. Aside from being the only member of her family to be able to see both th♌e material and spirit world at the same time, she is also the only one who was shown to be able to help spirits move on to the afterlife, though this may have simply happened off-screen for her father and sister.
9 Sadness and Young Lily Have The Same Voice
Although the identity of Sadness is one of the main mysteries that Marianne wants to solve early in the game, there is a giant clue to her identity when Lily, the younger version of Lilianne, finally speaks through multiple Memory Shards, as both characters have the same actor. Although other aspects of Lily, Lilianne and Maw, have different voice actors, the fact that the two younger versions of Lilianne have the same voice is a huge clue to her id🌌entity that can be easily missed.
8 Richard, ꦛHenry, And Their Monsters Ha🍎ve The Same Voice
Sadness and Lily aren't the only characters who share a voice actor, as both Richard and Henry, alongside their respective monsters, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Childeater and Hound, are voiced by the same two actors. As the identity of Maw isn't known until after these twoꩵ monsters have been met and dealt with, it is ♐a good way to subvert the player's expectations as to the identity of Maw's host.
While it is difficult to tell that the characters and their monsters share a voℱice actor, as their monster voices are heavily altered, it does serve to link the ꦕmen with their demons more closely than simply giving them a different voice actor.
7 Sadnesꦍs Always Disappears Right Before A Monster Encounter
One aspect of Sadness that makes her stand out a꧃mong the other spirits that Marianne meets, aside from her not being chained to a wall and her mask ripped from her face, is the fact that she seems to be able to appear and disappear at will. While this builds a sense of mystery in the player, she also always does this right before Marianne is confronted by a monster, which makes sense considering the other aspects of Lilianne had all been devoured by Maw before Marianne came to Niwa.
6 How Jack Died Is Never Explained
In the opening moments of the game, Mari𝔍anne is tasked with putting her adoptive father, Jack, to rest after his death. While the player can find multiple documents that mention he was terminally ill, including doctor's appointments and biopsies booked into his calendar, what exactly killed him is never explained. While how he died isn't overly important at t♊he beginning of the game, it is a question that is never answered by the game's conclusion.
5 Jack’s Appearance In Niwa Doesn’t Make Sense
Shortly before Marianne fin𝓀ds the bunker that Thomas locked Lilianne and Maw inside of, she is confronted by an image of Jack, who she had put to rest at th𓃲e very beginning of the game. Even if players shrug this appearance off as Maw projecting some kind of image to Marianne, which they had never done before and never do again, the fact that his tie also ends up at Niwa doesn't make a whole lot of sense in the context of the rest of the game.
4 Thomas Probably Has Monsters Inside Him
Right before the end of the game, players can find a🌞 document of Thomas theorizing on how the monsters in The Medium are created. In his eyes, a monster like Maw, Hound, and Childeater are created in the mind's attempt to deal with a traumatic event, such as Lilianne's assault by Richard, and splits their spirit off into another entity.
With this in mind, there is a very good chance that Thomas has or had at least one monster inside him, as he was not only imprisoned as a child due to his powers but also by the Red Army shortly after 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:World War II, and that's not even mentioning Lilianneꦯ's assault and the death of his wife.
3 There Should Be Far More Monsters In Niwa
When Marianne confronts Childeater, it is clear that Thomas severed the child spirit from Richard's body and left the monster inside him to rot, trapping them in Niwa until Marianne could send it to the afterlife. Considering how troubled several of the inhabitants of Niwa were, especially the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:nurse Ursula and the ballerina hiding herꦿ sexual preferences, there should probably be more than three monsters r༺oaming around Niwa by the time Marianne gets there.
2 No Matter Which Ending Happened, Maw Loses
In the climax of The Medium, Marianne discovers that Lilianne is alive and well, though celebrations are cut short when her sister asks her to do the unthinkable. In order for Marianne to be able to send Maw to the afterlife permanently, Lilianne first needs to die, though Maw has been preventing her from killing ꦇherself all this time. Lilianne gives Marianne a gun and asks her to kill her own sister, though Marianne realizes that Maw will eventually die without a host as they are trapped in Niwa and need Marianne's body to escape. While the player never sees which option she takes, they do see the aftermath that allows Spirit Thomas to leave Niwa, so whichever option she took, Maw didn't get what they wanted.
1 Lilianne’s Powers Have Huge Implications
While Thomas seemed to be a person of interest to the Red Army due to his powers, the implication that Lilianne's powers have is far more impactful. In the Red Army's eyes, while Thomas is capable of putting someone in a coma simply by touching them, Lilianne, if pushed far enough, can create multiple monsters that co💎uld have led to the creation of an invisible army of demons. Thankfully, for both the player and the world, Lilianne is surprisingly well adjusted considering how her life turned out and the worst possible outcome never came to pass.
