One of 2018's best indie games is finally making the jump to Xbox One. Spotted by a random , it looks like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Messenger will be release🦩d on Microsoft's console next week on June 25, 2020. A rather excellent retro platformer/Metroidvania mix, any fans of NES and Genesis games would do well to pick this up.

If you are just now learning about this for the first time (where have you been the past two years?), The Messenger is currently available on PC, Switch, and PS4. In fact, the PC version🦄 is a part of Xbox Game Pass for PC. There's a chance this upcoming Xbox One port will also be on Game Pass, which would be excellent.

In my own time with the game, I feel in love with its op▨ening act and was pretty engaged until the mid-point. It s꧟tarts to lose steam by that point, but the game isn't overly long. You can 100% it in roughly 10 hours and it has a stellar soundtrack, so it's not like you'll be wasting your time.

On other platforms, The Messenger goes for $19.99. It's likely to be the same price on Xbox One, but that's not all! A free DLC pack with an additional three levels is also available. It's not the best thing around, but more retro goodness is hardly something to complain about. It even offers extra achievements for the PC port, so if gamerscore is your thing, The Messenger has got you covered.

What's more surprising is that it has taken nearly two years for the game to hit Microsoft's console. I'm not even sure why it launched as a PC and Switch exclusive, but at least gamers on whatever device can all experience this great little gem. The inspiration from Ninja Gaiden and Strider should make it an easy sell for retro ent🅺husi🎃asts.

I'm just jazzed that I can continue to talk about The Messenger into 2020. You really shouldn't sleep on this, Xbox One gamers. It's one of the best indie games of the last decade and it absolutely deserves a spot in your li𝓀brary.
