Whether you've played any Sonic games before or not, the Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog is a great way to experience and learn about each character. The game sets itself up like you don't know anything about the characters.

Sega may have released this game as an April Fool's Day joke, but for a free game, it's incredibly well-made. The characters almost pop off of the screen, and it becomes increasingly easy to pick favorites the more you play. There aren't that many characters, but that makes keeping track of who's who easier.

10 Vector

The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog Vector as a butcher

Vector is one of the cheerier characters in the game, ready for almost anything. He readily defends his buddies and is mostly here for a good time. At the beginning of the game, he's shown to be a bit absent-minded, having misplaced his ticket. Fortunately, you find it for him in the napkin holder.

You don't interact with him very much, though. Outside of some brief comic relief and a reason for Knuckles to break the arcade machine, Vector doesn't add much to the game.

9 Blaze

The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog Blaze giving you her train ticket

Blaze is certainly an interesting character. Her beginning introduction betrays her character later on. During the section with Rogue and Blaze, she ends up being a funny character. At one 🐭point during the planning, you can suggest that you pretend to be her spouse.

At this point, Blaze begins to take that suggestion seriously. She interrogates you for any reason why you could be her spouse, stating that you would be marrying into royalty. You'll certainly need better clothes, and she probably needs to be a little less serious.

8 Rogue

The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog Rogue talking to Amy

Rogue is a thief through and through. Her heart can only be won by treasure. She thanks Amy for the fun time ahead but can't make any promises that she won't steal anything. She ends up stealing quite a bit, to be truthful. Her plans flow smoothly and go off without a hitch. At least, for the most part.

When she's faced with a panic-inducing situation, however, Rogue relies on you to come up with a solution. She doesn't seem to care too much about Amy's murder mystery going as planned, though, so long as her own plans succeed. Amy's birthday party happens to be a convenient way to see them through.

7 Amy

The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog Amy as the birthday girl

Amy is the birthday girl. This entire event wouldn't be possible without her determination to have the best birthday murder mystery party ever. However, she won't hesitate to leave you behind, abusing her right to the birthday key to bypass all of Shadow's hard work. She's a little too eager to hit everything with her hammer or use it for threats, though doubly so regarding 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:her love for Sonic.

Despite being a nosy journalist, she's also not that great in her role, more than willing to believe an informant before there is solid evidence. Thankfully, both you and Tails are there to set her on the right course.

6 Espio

The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog Espio as a poet

When you first meet Espio, you'll think to yourself that he's surprisingly comforting to be around. He promptly turns around and is surprised that you think he's comforting. He's an interesting character and is certain to catch those of you unfamiliar with him off guard.

In this game, Espio plays the role of the poet, trying to appear as unassuming as possible. He's not that great a poetry, though, even though he's insistent on spouting them constantly. In fact, he's pretty terrible at it and should probably stop.

5 Conductor

The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog the Train's Conductor

The Conductor welcomes you into the game. He walks you through the UI and sets up the story. Aside from functioning as your tutorial character, the Conductor is just an all-around lovely character. He loves his wife and is looking forward to his retirement. Things might go a little awry for him along the way, but eventually, he's free to relax.

You might take his words a little too close t🌃o heart while looking out for the passengers, though. The fear of disappointing the Conductor is stronger than the fear of Doctor Eggman.

4 Knuckles

The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog Knuckles as a cowboy

Knuckles is trying very hard to give Amy what she wants. Nobody can deny that. He puts on the accent and everything, even if it doesn't last for very long. He's competitive and easy to make blush, whether you call him out for hiding things or complimenting him. The anger issues are, really, his only downside.

Sure, he can try to fix the arcade machine afterward, but what if he just hadn't punched it in the first place? He's a great character to interact with early in the game, though. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Plus, Knuckles has a great design.

3 Sonic

The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog Sonic as a captain

Sure, Sonic technically isn't present for most of the game, but he's there when it counts. He's bright and cheerful and tries to see the positive side of things. Sonic is there to drag you out of your spiraling thoughts and keep you set on the right track. His motivations may mainly lie with saving his friends, but for the time being, you count too.

You will probably never interact with him again in this universe, but in that moment, it's easy to see why he's so beloved. The fact that he spends most of the game "dead" kind of eliminates him from being able to take first, though.

2 Shadow

The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog Shadow as a locksmith

Shadow's motives throughout the game are confusing. Your first impression of him is that he's standoffish and doesn't want to be there. It's also painfully apparent that he either didn't wrap Amy's present or didn't get her one to begin with. He locks every door you're passing through and generally makes your life more difficult. At least until you finally get to talk to him.

In reality, Shadow💯 was trying to delay so he could get a last-minute but incredibly thoughtful gift for Amy. Plus, he played the role of locksmith ๊exceedingly well by locking every door.

1 Tails

The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog Tails handing over his ticket

Tails is the best character in the game. He's your detective companion, your partner in solving crimes. He's a jack of all trades and seemingly always has the skill and the tools ready to fix most problems you encounter. Tails constantly encourages you throughout the game, even if he heavily relies on the mantra "What would Sonic do?"

He might be slightly disturbed by your insistence on checking every trash can, but when it pays off, he's pleased it worked out for you. If anything, Tails just doesn't want to see you sad, even if you're supposed to be ensuring everyone else has a great time. He's a perfect character and the best detective to spend the game with.
