168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Outer Worlds i🔯ncludes a variety of weapons, p🐈rimarily meant for shooting, slicing, and smashing, but there are a few that have a lot more interesting effects. These are called science weapons, and they seem like the best offerings from a mad scientist’s lab. They rely on the science skill rather than any of the weapons skills and apply unique physics-defying effects that make the game more interesting. There are five in total—here’s how to get them.
Shrink Ray
This science weapon, the subject of the quest “Acquire Phineas’ Science Weapon,” is the easiest to obtain. As soon as you can freely fly around on the Unreliable, just go to Phineas’ lab, find t൲he safety glass barr☂ier where Phineas is, and you'll spot the weapon to the right of his speaker.
The shrink ray deals some plasma damage t𓄧o enemies, but the 🏅real boon of this weapon is the shrinking effect, which makes enemies smaller and reduces their armor and damage.
Prismatic Hammer
To acquire the science weapon on the Groundbreaker, you have to talk to Gladys, someone you’ll likely be speaking to anyway as part of the main quest. All you have to do is buy the ♉battered Mardet datapad from her. It will point you to a hidden room on the West end of the Groundbreaker, where you can then climb on top of some bunks to find a narrow door, fight some enemies inside, and unlock the door on the right.
The prismatic hammer can deal damage of all different energy types, and s♛ometimes will deal multiple types of damage at the same time. It also sends out a shockwave when you use it.
Mandibular Rearranger
To acquire the science weapon on Scylla, you need to talk to Gladys again. This time, you need to buy the Hephaestus Min♕ing – Archive Cartridge from her. You can review it on the terminal when you get back to your ship. The cartridge will point you to a building near the Abandoned Mining O🐲utpost on Scylla. There you’ll find a baton.
The Mandibular Rearranger is a melee weapon that deals phy🐷sical damage. It can also stagger enemies, or even freeze them in place.
Gloop Gun
The Gl🔯oop Gun is part of a side quest, the Errors Unseen mission that takes place on Monarch. You can find the gun in the UDL Lab down to the Southwest of Stellar Bay. After clearing out the enemies inside you can use a terminal in the main room to unlock the gun. You have the option to hack the terminal, but if your hacking skill is insufficient, you can also gain access by pretending to be a bootlicker and answering three security questions with the most pro-corporation options possible: “Protect the Chairman,” “Berate him relentlessly to defend the Chairman’s honor,” and “Arrest your spouse and admit your childr⭕en to a reeducation program.”
The Gꦬloop Gun deals shock damage that spreads to other nearby🐼 targets. It also causes targets to levitate in the air.
Mind Control Ray
To find the Mind Control Ray, first you have to buy a Sublight Datapad from the vendor Duncan in Fallbrook Dry Goods and Supplies on Monarch. The datapad will lead you to a spot that you will venture n▨ear during the quest “Space-Crime Continuum.” When you access the terminal during this quest, turn left, jump across to the platform, then jump to the platform to the right. The mind control ray will be at the top of two ladders that you find there.
The Mind Control Ray deals plasma damage to enemies, and brainwashes them to turn on🌞 each other. It even works on automechanicals!
These five weapons all offer some unique advantages—be sure to seek them out during your time with The Outer Worlds.
