The second and final DLC for The Outer Worlds is launching next week on March 17. Dubbed Murder on Eridanos, the expansion is a mystery cloaked in the sci-fi capitalist spectacle, and the crux of it🐭 all is that you can fail, and you can even convict yo♛urself.

"The core of Murder on Eridanos is to solve a crime," , "and murder is just the beginning of what you will find. You will have to interrogate witnesses, learn about potential alibis, and argue who you believe is responsible. Do you falsely accuse an innocent spectator? Do you present a poor case with a lack of evidence? What happens if you try to convince people that you are somehow responsible for the murder?"

Any good detective worth their salt needs their tools, whether it's Batman and his futuristic gadgets that re-create crime scenes or Sherlock Holmes and his magnifying glass. With that, naturally, The Outer Worlds brings with it the Discrepancy Amplifier. This new device "uses Science to reveal clues in your immediate surroundings. It also provides its own humorous analysis of those details." It's a magnifying glass and Watson rolled into o💧ne, basically.
