In a game with nine playable characters, Ryan is one of two characters that can be declared the main protagonist. Brooding, sarcastic, stubborn, and pedantic, Ryan plays an essential role in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Quarry. Just like the other characters, Ryan has his admira🎐ble moments alongside his unsavory ones.
Whether it’s an act of bravery and loyalty or stubbornness and death, Ryan has plenty of memorable experiences throughout the story. Some may only be seen based on your choices, while others will be in every playthrough. Nonetheless, here are ten 𝐆of Ryan’s best and worst ♉moments in The Quarry.
This article contains plot and g💦ameplay spoilers in Th🧸e Quarry
10 Bestꦜ: Running Into The Woods To Hel🧸p Nick
If there’s one thing to know about Ryan, it’s that he’s a brave and selfless character. When Abi emerges from the woods, crying out for help, Ryan runs into the woods, completely unaware of what ꦉhe’s dealing with.
Once he finds Nick, he’ll stand his ground against Bobby and ensure that Nick gets back to safety. Kaitlyn may have been better suited for the rescue mission, but Ryan ♏still takes charge. And it sets the tone for his behavior throughout the story.
9 Worst: Bobby Stabs Ry♍an
Ryan luckily evades danger and significant injury for the majority of the game. It’s not until l📖ater in the g𝔍ame that Ryan is stabbed by Bobby, sustaining a life-threateninไg wound. You can choose to remove the knife and bleed out, or keep it in and slow yourself down while trying to get away because, of co♍urse, Bobby is still pursuing you.
Neither option ဣis ideal, forcing Ryan into a situation each character is trying to avoid: becoming a werewolf.
8 ꩲ 🌠 Best: Trying To Convince The Group To Stay
As the player, you know that having a party on the beach right after being told not to isn’t the best idea for teens. But you also know the ♛night will go sou👍th either way. Nonetheless, if you’re trying to av♛oid the terrors to come, you might have Ryan make a plea to keep the group in the lodge.
The group may be annoyed by Ryan’s undying loyalty to Chris Hackett, but knowing the events to come makes thi♒s one of his better ไmoments.
7 🃏 Worst: Protective In Chris&rsquo♉; Office
Ryan tries to heed Chris’s rules, which makes sense in the context of s🦄afety, but his devotion to him grows tiresome over time. Maybe Dylan’s snooping is a bit problematic, but it’s all in goo♏d fun.
After all, Chris isn’t return🐟ing to the camp that night, so what’s the harm in learning a bit more about his role moꦗdel’s life? It’s an eye-rol꧟ler if you enjoy exploring the setting, but it likely won’t stop you from doing what you want anyway. Either way, he should learn to pick his battles.
6 🎉 Best: Kiss With Dylan
Ryan’s potential fleeting romance with Dylan is easily one of the best parts of The Quarry. There aren’t too many moments where you can explore their relationship beyond flirting, but you’ll still have one moment to take more꧂ 💎obvious advances.
When choosing dare in Truth or D🦹are, Ryan will be dared to kiss either Dylan or Kaitlyn. Both have crushes on Ryan, butꦰ you’re only really able to pursue Dylan in the game, so the kiss is an adorable moment between the pair.
5 Worst:ꦅ Conflict With Laura
Ryan’s devotion toward Chris Hackett throws him into bouts of denial. While the rest of the group is quick to side with L🦩aura and accept her explanation for things, Ryan resists and not only denies the existence of werewolves but also denies any of Chris’ involvement in Max and Laura’s plight.
At this point in the game, Ryan has seen a werewolf at least once outside the Radio Hut, and as Dylan suggests, are w൩erewolves really that farfetched after a night like this?
4 𓄧 Best: Being Selfless In The Ra🍷dio Hut
You can easily choose to pour the pr𝄹essure on Dylan while he tries to figure out what to do, but choosing to support him in a time of high stress is a much sweeter decision. And being kind to Dylan helps him slow down and focus.
Additionally, you’ll have the opp🐎ortunity to warn Kaitlyn, Abi, and Nick while they make their way toward you. You can a💖lso run out with your gun and try to take on the werewolf yourself. You’ll end up running back inside, but it’s the♒ thought that counts.
3 𒁃 Worst: Choosing Not To Be Infected 𒆙
Ryan can be willfully stubborn, so it’s no surpr🥂ise that you have the option to reject Laura’s bite. Sure, he doesn’t want to be infected and turn into a vicious monster once a month, but if he follows Laura’s plan, he won’t be infected for long.
Choosing not to let Laura bite you is a sentence for certain death. You won’t die immediately a💯fter rejecting her, but if you manage to kill Chris Hackett, you&rsquo🌠;ll succumb to your injuries soon after.
2
Best: Ryan Gives Laura The Blood Vial
Another example of Ryan’s selflessness can be seen in the final portion of the game. If he’s carrying a b🧜lood vial, Ryan will offer it to Laura. He knows this would only ensure Laura’s safety, which is even more interesting considering that they’ve only met hours earlier.
It’s satisfying to see Ryan finally warm up to L🍌aura and extend the ultimate sacrifice for friendship. Playing as Laura, you can accept or reject the vial, but regardless of your decision, it’s a tender moment of sincerity.
1 ﷽ Worꦉst: Ryan Is Killed By Chris
It’s been a 🌳rough night for Ryan. Werewolves are attacking him and his friends, his friend Kaylee is dead, and to make♓ matters worse, his role model is a werewolf. He spends a lot of time defending Chris, but he has to accept the truth once he faces him in his werewolf form.
There’s some rare dialogue that shows Ryan expressing his disappointment to Chris, but even if you don’t see this conversation play out, Ryan and Chris will fall through the floor. And if you choose not to shoot him, 🀅Chris꧅ will kill Ryan.
