When you choose to explore in The Quarry, you get answers to questions you may not know you even had.

12 ไ The Hacketts Are Struggling Financially

While exploring the game, you may find documents that reveal the Hackett family's current financial situation. The first document describes the cost of the electric cages they purchased. The cages are very expensive and seem to have affected their finances.

Another document reveals the price hike for adm꧅ission to the camp. Chris Hackett continues to run the camp to provide for his🐷 family. Upon discovering the truth about the Hackett family, you may wonder why the family even risks running the camp, knowing there are at least four people afflicted with the werewolf curse.

You can also find lodge renovation plans with a note saying the quote is too high and to look for a cheape🎐r option the following year. Perhaps this explains why the Hacketts’ home is in such poor condౠition.

11 ꩲ Why Weren’t The Hacketts In Their Cages? 🥃

Clearly, the Hacketts have spent a lot of money on the electrified cages, so why aren’t they in them? Kaylee and Caleb have been running around Hacketts' Quarry since the full moon turned in the sky. They know they’re both dangerous and out of control during the full moon, so why wouldn’t the pair stay inside?

The cages are also meant to contain Chris, but you'll find him chained up in the attic. Though there may not be a clear reason for Caleb and Chris being outside their cages, there is one for Kaylee. While exploring, you can find a hidden document inside a box. This document is Kaylee's letter addressed to her grandmother, Constance. In the letter, Kaylee explains that she's running away to seek help from the public.

10 🍒 Everyone Loves Ryan

Brooding, sarcastic, and kind all in one, Ryan has attracted more than one camp counselor. Both Kaitlyn and Dylan express interest in him, but Ryan neve🃏r fully reciprocates their feelings.

Later in the game, Ryan tells Laura that he knows they’re both interested, but he isn’t sure he’s interested in either of them. Cutting back to Kaitlyn and Dylan, the two express that Ryan is interested in Laura. Despite having a boyfriend, Laura and Ryan share some great chemistry. Perhaps there is something between themജ as well.

While playing Ryan during Truth or Dar�😼�e, you can choose to kiss Dylan or Kaitlyn.

9 Missing Hikers And What Really Happened 🅰 ꦬ

To no one’s surprise, they’re rumored to have been killed by a bear, which seems to be the go-to conclusion for everything in the first half of the game. In a hushed conversation between Chris and Travis Hackett, it's suggested that Caleb and Bobby killed them.

7 🀅 𒁃 Hank Hackett: An Old Sheriff In Town

Later in the story, it’s revealed that Hank Hackett was the sheriff before Trav𒊎is a🌱nd that Travis took his place after he died.

If you’ve done enough investigating, you're introduced to Harum Scarum at the beginning of the game while playing as Laura. Most of the carnival fire remnants are gone, but a few remain. You can find a poster, an escape artist's clothes, and an empty cage for “Silas the Dog Boy.”

The counse🙈lors have been working at Hackett’s Quarry Summer Camp for two months when you meet them. Other than Jacob and Emma, none of the other characters are known to take action with each other until after summer is over.

Abigail and Nick are both mutually interested in each other, but neither has made a move until two months later. They already seem to like each other, so what took them so long to actually start pursuing each other? And what was their dynamic while in camp? Depending on your choices during Abi and Nick's kiss, Abi may tell Nick that she admires him for helping one of the campers, but she still chooses not to speak with him until after camp is over.

4 🉐 How Did The Infection Come To Be? ಞ

So how did the werewolf virus come to be? At first, you might think that this affliction ꦑis a Hackett family problem, but you later learn that patient zero is “Silas the Dog Boy.” Silas is both directly and indirectly responsible for spreading the virus and causing all the bloodshed.

The virus’s origin is never eꦆxplained or how Silas became infected. But, given that the virus is referred 😼to as a curse that can be broken, it’s likely he became this way through magic. And the only known magic user in the story is his very own mother.

3 𝔉 🎶Kaylee And Caleb: The Hackett Children

The Hackett children are mysterious characters for the entire game. You know Chris Hackett has a daughter named Kaylee and a son named Caleb, but only because their photo can be seen in his office. Despite having little to no screen time, you eventually learn that the children have catalyzed most of the events at the summer 😼camp.

But even this detail is easy to miss if you haven’t heard the right conversations or the characters meant to tell you have died. The most you see of them is when the group finds Kaylee's body floating in the pool, realizing she was one of the werewolves. You can also see Caleb at the very end of the game as you're taken through the life-or-death status of each character.
