The mod is already being raved about for its semi-open world Eden Hills, new farm animals, and the gorgeousꦅ lots, but for players looking for even more reasons to try it, here are 8 things you didn’t know you could do with Arnie’s Farmland mod.

8 Install the Mod witho🌞ut Enabling the World 🔯

Going into Sable Square in Brindleton Bay, choose any lot—ideally, one that the farming Sims will be 💮living on—and navigate to the town square area in the middle of the five playable lots. Then, find the water fountain; or, where the water fountain used to be. Instead of the fountain, there will be a blue planet. Clicking on that will install the Farmland world!

Essentially, installing the Farmland world extends the playable area, so that everything that used to be decorative can now be interacted with. But, installing the Farmland world won’t override the original lots. Pupperstone Park, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Brindleton Pawspital, Sporting Space (an empty lo𝓡t), It’s a Good House, and Dormus Familiarus (residential lots) will all still be there.

Players can choose to remodel them to match the scenery, or opt to keep the pet-focused builds. Plus, The Sims 4🐼 makes it easy to switch buildings in and out. Make sure to save any favorites to your library through The Gallery before bulldozing.

7 Take a Closer Look at Signs on your Fa💟rm Plots

The signs in the middle of new farm plots have so many new features, it’s easy to overlook something. Let’s break down some of the most important functions. Other than buying crops or farm a🃏nimals, signs can be used to purchase or toggle amenities🐽 for each plot.

Players can install watering or bug-prevention systems to automate some of the garden work, or even to install greenhouses, which will allow Sims to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:grow any crop in any season. Amenities will also show up in the World Tag system, so it’s easy to see which amenities are installe⛎d where.

Th🔯e wooden sign can also be used to reset any farm plot, so players can switch things up the offerings without having to buy new plots of land. Just make sure to sell any crops (or farm animals) first!

6 Have Two Careers 🥃 🍰

With Farmland, farming works similarly to gardening, in that Sims can register as farmers while also being employed in another in-game career. Arnie’s Gameplay Walkthrough mentioned the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Interior Design career specifically for a very particular reason.

Related: Sims 4: The Most Lucrative Caꦡreers Yo♌ur Sim Can HaveSims can do both freelance and traditional careers while also being farmers. You can register as a farmer in city hall (that’s what in-game NPC George will tell you), and go at y🍌our own pace! Farming might be hard work, but at least Sims can set their own hours.

5 🐓 Play Through George’s Story

George is a new NPC created specifically for the Farmland Mod. Like the locals in Selvadorada, George is a Sim’s best resource for farming information and advic🀅e. But George also has a story of his own.

As Sims play through the mod’s features and ask George questions, they’ll also unlock bits of George’s story over time. The m🦹od is still playable without fulfilling any of George’s requests, but completing them unlocks some cool gameplay functions.

4 Customize Woꦏrld Tags ꦗ

Take a look at the world tags over the farm plot, and other buildings in Arnie's Farmland mod (Sims 4)

World Tags are the icons that appear above the interactive lots in Eden Hills, like the City Hall, Bank, and others in the Town Square. But, world tags are more than just building markers. Clicking on world tags opens up the option to rename or visit a lot, straight from Live Mode. Tags can also be deleted or turned off altogether at any time, though they’re h🉐elpful for navigating the new open world. For buildings in the Town Square, world tags even display the opening hours for each building.

Tags work on farm plots too. When you plant crops or farm animals, theও tag will appear that corresponds with whatever crop or animal is in that field, so you can see it without being on the lot. Great for not forgetting what you planted!

3 Farm Anywhere 🔥

What if you like farming, but 𝔉love Brindleton Bay as-is? What about players who want to keep Brindleton Bay as-is, or want to incorporate farming into different worlds? Go ahead!🎉 All of Farmland’s new objects can be accessed in any world, on any lot.

Navigate to the Build menu, and then choose Outdoor Activities, and you’ll find all of the animals, plots, gameplay objects, a🐻nd decor that make Eden Hills so lovely. You can even ride horses or tractors in other worlds to get around faster, though playing in other worlds will mean more loading screens.

2 Customize Eden Hills 💖

A panoramic view of the rural area of Eden Hills, from Arnie's Farmland mod (Sims 4)

With , Eden Hills is totally customizable. Delete buildings, create new ones, and move things around all in the Live mode menu. A word of caution: if ꧃you haven’t played through the Story Mode yet, do that first! Discovering the secret of Eden Hills’ story makes some of the lots—like the graveyard — make more sense.

There’s always the option to play Farmland in a fresh save, too, 🎀so players can have the best of both worlds. With the World Edit mod, you can create new Interactive Lots, which means that Eden Hills will stay a semi-open world even if players can create all-new buildings! Regular lots will still work in Eden Hills like they do in any other world, but they will, of course, have loading screens like any other unmodded lot.

1 I🌸nteract with Deco Buildings 🌃

This hay-filled shed can be used as a storage space with Arnie's Farmland mod (Sims 4)

Farmland already has a semi-open world, and so many lots to interact with, sans-loading screen. Even some of the decorative lots can be interacted with! In front of the Horse Ranch, there is a set of sheds that look like set pieces. It turns out that Sims can actually 🍌store things in these buildings.

They work like any other storage object in the game, so it’s easy to drag and drop things into and out of their inventory spaces. Having extra produce, animal products, or Hay Snacks on hand would probably be a huge help for Sims, but players can also get creative with 💮it!
