is a game that has a ton of different options for the life of the character that the player creates. From their outfits to their personality and where they're going to live, t♒here are so many things that the player gets to control about their Sim. It's a ton of fun to make a character and then play through their life. Whether you have them get married and liꦍve their dream career or become a reclusive vampire, the options are limitless... Almost.
The main limit in the game is the fact that there's a limited number of careers. We can't pretend that there aren't some truly awesome careers available for players in the game because there🍒🌟 are so many cool ones. But, there are definitely some that we hope will be added in future updates or packs that they release.
To see ten careers we hope to see in The Sims 4, keep reading!
10 Teacher
After Parenthood was released, it added so many gameplay elements that change the way growing up works in The Sims 4. We totally love this and it's great for anyone that likes to 𝕴play with a🍃 heavy focus on their Sim's family.
But with the new family-focused elements of the game, one thiಞng that is notably missing is the teacher career. Having this be an active career in which your Sim can go to a nearby school, interact with students, and even meet with parents would be so much fun!
9 Something Parꦫanormal
This one is a little more on the vague side because of the fact that the things that The Sims 4 could do with this career option are so open-ended. Considering The Sims 4 now has vampires,ဣ aliens, mermaids, and ghosts, the fact that there's no supernatural career track is seriously a bummer.
Come on, Sims team! Give us a paranormal investigation career or a vampire hunter career or something! Packs like Island Living, StrangerVille, and Vampires have given Sims so much interaction with all things s✱trange and spooky, so why not add a supernatural career into the mix?
8 Architect
One of the most fun things in The Sims 4 for many players is being able to 𝓀ꦚbuild, renovate, and decorate the home or apartment that our Sims live in. Considering we have so much fun making these awesome houses, who's to say that our Sims wouldn't love it, too?
The Architecture career path was one that existed in The Sims 3 but unfortunately has yet to return to The Sims 4. How sad is that? This career allowed Sims to sit down at a drafting table💃 to work on the next masterpiece home plan and, depe𒐪nding on how much they worked on their designs, they would receive reviews.
7 🌳 Daycare Owner 💜
The Daycare career path is one that was also available in The Sims 3 but hasn't been brought back to The Sims 4 just yet. Considering the fact that The Sims 4 has gotten toddlers and Parenthood was re꧟leased, maybe this self-employed career path is coming soo꧑n?
As a Daycare Owner, any Sim could turn their home into a daycare during the daytime hours. Sims would come drop their children off and leave them in your Sim's care until the end of the day when they'd come pick them up. The Sims 4 added a variety of freelance jobs recently, so Daycare Ownerꦿ may be coming🏅 back soon!
6 ✱ ♔ Tattoo Artist
There are a lot of ways that Sims can get creative in The Sims 4. From writing to programming andﷺ painting, there are quite a few career paths or hobbies that can allow Sims to𒐪 unleash their creativity and create something totally awesome. Considering the fact that tattoos already exist in Create-a-Sim, this career path wouldn't be a far stretch.
Allowing 𓆉your creative Sims to open a tattoo parlor lot somewhere in the world and give totally awesome tattoos to other Sims would be an amazing active career ꦺin the game! Even if it was a passive career and we never got to see our Sims at work, this career would be too cool.
5 Director
Get Famous added the ability for our Sims to become superstars in their world. They gain fame in a ton of different ways and the acting career is a new active career path that allows Sims to go from appearing in lo𝄹wly commercials to winning awards for their roles in huge movies.
When on set, our Sims have to interact with several other people members like stylists, other actors, and the director of the project. Since the director is already there, how cool would it be to let our Sims become famous directors themselves? Maybe some Sims want to get famous but are more comfortable behind the camera.
4 Farmer
Sims can already garden, keep bees, and even live off-the-grid without electricity or modern conveniences, if you're so inspired to give yourself a challenge and let your Sims get more in t🔯ouch with nature. But why not take it a step farther?
Adding a pack where Sims can move to a farm and live off the land would be totally awesome. But, even if we didn't get a f♏ull pack dedicated to farm life, adding a self-employed Farmer career based on Sims growing things on their property to sell would be a ton of fun and really different from other careers.
3 Model
Considering some of the gameplay aspects that were already introduced with Get Famous, the id🌠ea of a Sim becoming a world famous model is totally no🌳t that far off. Sims already gain fame by posting on social media and other Sims in the world copy their sense of style by wearing the exact same outfit if they get famous enough.
Plus, it wouldn't be the franchise's first foray into the world of modeling. In The Urbz: Sims in the City, Sims had to tꦫake part in photoshoots in ord෴er to move up in the world and make some cash.
2 🌱 ♌ Interior Decorator
Decorating the inside of a Sim's house can be so much fun. It's a really awesome way to really show your Sim's personality through how they decorate their home. This is a lot of fun for own personal Sims and, in The Sims 3, peopleꦺ who loved🦩 to decorate had an additional way to unleash their creativity.
The Architectural Designer career was a career path that allowed Sims to go to the home of another Sim and design the inside of their house based on the things they wanted in a certain room and their budget. A version of this career would be too perfect for The Sims 4!
1 Uber Driver ﷽
The Sims 4 recently added a few different freelancer careers and with Island Living, Sims now have the ability to do one-time tasks for other Sims in exchange for some quick cash. Considering these super modern career options have been added to The Sims 4, the idea that yet another career like it mi𓃲ght be added in the future wouldn't be that much of a stretch.
Letting our Sims work for a ridesharing program like Uber or Lyft would be so cool! If The Sims 4 chooses to add cars in the future, adding this as a job and letting our Sims drive other Sims from world to world wouldও be a super unique and fun career option.
