How To Learn Recipes In The Sims 4

A feminine Sim with red hair stands at a food stall, ordering a meal.

Sims can pick up recipes in their own kitchen or by exploring the world around them. Reading Cooking skill books and spending time in the kitchen will raise your Sim's Cooking skill level, unlocking several recipes at a time.

But the most interesting recipes are found beyond your Sim's kitchen. When your Sim visits select eateries, they will learn a new recipe just by finishing a plate of food.

Ordering food while visiting restaurants from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Dine Out expansion pack will sometimes inform your Si🌃m of a new recipe, including fascinating experimental recipeꦫs like those at Chez Llama.

Your Sim needs to eat their entire dish in order to learn the recipe. If they leave some of the meal on their plate, they will ꦇnot learn the re🍸cipe.

One of the best ways to learn recipes is to visit the food stalls of San Myshuno. These rotating stalls offer yummy dishes from many cultures, which your Sim will be able to whip up at home once they've learned their recipes!

How To Cook A Recipe In The Sims 4

A feminine Sim with red hair stirs ingredients in a mixing bowl. Next to her, her recipe catalog overlays the screenshot.

Cooking a recipe in The Sims 4 is very simple. First, select an oven or fridge to open your Sim's recipe catalog.

Sims have to learn recipes for themselves, meaning they aren't shared among the household.

This catalog will display all the recipes your Sim knows thus far, along with the skill level needed to prepare it, the price of the dish, and the ingredients it takes to cook it. Luckily, if you don't have the ingredients (which you often won't), you can simply select the recipe to buy the ingredients and start cooking!

Those with the Simple Living lot trait from the Cottage Living expansion pack aren't able to buy ingredients with Simoleons. Sims living on Simple Living lots must go to the grocery or acquire ingredients by ღharvesting t🙈hem.

Then, watch as your Sim whips up their newly learned dish. Aw, we're so proud of them!
