As a Simmer, you usually know what to expect when a new Sims game rolls out. Chances are most of the franchise's popular expansion pack themes will get polished and covered again to fit the new generation of Sims, just like what happened with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:University, Seasons, and Pets.
So when an expansion as innovative as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Sims 4 Cottage Living comes out, you better bet there are some new things you'll have to learn to experience the pack fully. Luckily, this time around the pack has included a sort of tutorial in the form of errands that you can do to learn everything Henford-on-Bagley has to offer. Here's what you need to know.
What Are Errands?
When living in - or even visiting - Henford-on-Bagley, you'll be encouraged to explore this beautiful world as well as really get to know your neighbors, and what better way to do that than by completing the different errands the townies will ask you to do.
These errands could be pretty much anything, from taking a photo to planting a crop. How they work is that you'll get assigned a main errand which will consist of two or more tasks you'll have to complete. The best part? After doing them, you'll get a sweet reward for all your hard work.
How To Get Errands
Starting to run errands is as easy as clicking on one of the Sims from the above list and talking to them until the special interaction of "Offer Help with Errands" pops up. Keep in mind that only teenage sims or older can run errands and that you don't have to necessarily live in Henford-on-Bagley to help the townies out with these particular tasks.
It's easy to get side-tracked with the number of things you can do in The Sims, but luckily, errands won't expire. However, you can only have three pending errands at a time and, if you lose track of what you're doing, check your Sim's career interface.
Keep in mind that if you want to run errands with more than one Sim in your household, you'll have to ask different NPCs for different errands since only one Sim can be working on a particular errand at a time.
Tip: If an NPC doesn't have an available errand at the moment, wait for a little while and then ask them again.
Types Of Errands
Villagers have various errands that they can give you, but all of them won't be available at the same time. Nevertheless, these are divided into two types: introductory errands and repeatable errands.
Introductory errands are the ones you'll do to get to know better the errand-giving sim; this means you can only do the introductory errand for each villager once. However, if after doing those you're craving more, don't worry, as Cottage Living offers repeatable errands as well. These are smaller than the others, and some are shared between villagers, just with different errand titles.
Who Can Give You Errands In Cottage Living?
Since errands are a new gameplay feature introduced in the Cottage Living expansion pack, only NPCs who have a unique role in Henford-on-Bagley can give them to you. These sims are:
Michael Bell, The Creature Keeper
Finding Michael can be a little tricky since he doesn't live in an assigned lot. Instead, he resides in a small cottage in the Bramblewood neighborhood forest. This guy sells animal clothing and trades various collectibles.
