Whenever new content is released for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Sims 4, it can be difficult to judge its value. Often, the amount of enjoyment you get from an expansion pack will be very dependent on how you play the game, and opinions can change over time, especially if a pack ends up being neglected after a while. When I first saw Eco Lifestyle my concern was that it would be a pack that had limited appeal. However, I was delighted to be surprised by its depth. The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle will affect every aspect of your game in a way we've not seen since Seasons was released.
An Eco Lifestyle
One of the main features of Eco Lifestyle is the new eco-footprint system. This will apply in every world, except Strangerville and Destination worlds. Most neighborhoods begin in a neutral position anꦍd eco-friendly🧜 activities, such as using wind turbines and dew collectors to generate energy, can help push them to become green and bring beauty and transformation. Conversely, using dirty fuel and other such activities can turn a town industrial, bringing smog, debuffs, and even acid rain.
Many building m♈aterials now also have values that can influence the footprint, although this option can be removed in the menu options, as can the footprint system. Combining actions together will affect the footprint of individual lots and the wider neighborhood right across your worlds, allowing you to literally transform your surroundings into an urban wasteland or a beautiful haven.
You Can Have A N.A.P. Anywhere
The pack also brings a new world to the game, that of Evergreen Harbor. It starts off looking pretty rough around the edges. The Port Promise neighborhood is very industrial and full of trash and smog. Conifer Station is neutral with less trash but se♔veral bland buildings and streets. Finally, Grims Quarry has a green footprint, but could still use a little love.
It's here that the new Neighborhood Action Plan system, also known as N.A.P. comes into play. This allows players and NPCs to vote on different initiatives and is the biggest world changer we've seen since Seasons. While the action plans to beautify the area with gree🗹n initiatives and modernization only apply in Evergreen Harbor, the others can be applied in any residential world and any town, including Strangerville.
Not All N.A.P.s Are Focused On Green Initiatives
The choice of action plans is huge and you should also note that other neighborhoods in your world can and will vote each w💯eek by default. I noticed this when I spent two weeks in Conifer Station, making the area modern and green. When I moved to Port Promise, I assumed I'd need to start again with N.A.P.s. The first clue that a N.A.P. was in place was when my laptop vanished, quickly followed by my outdoor furniture. I also saw Father Winter greet Knox with a passionate embrace, and got hit on by Travis.
It turned out Port Promise had voted for "Sharing is Caring" which means Sims can take each other's things without repercussions. They also voted for "Free Love" which means you'd better get used to streakers coming past your window regularly. If this isn't your style you can turn off autonomous voting in the options or get five signatures during the time voting is open to repeal an existing N.A.P. S🐼ignature collecting appeared quite random, so talking to and asking as many people as possible is key.
N.A.P.s will basically reward or penalize different types of behavior and there are several different ones. While some are focused on good things like sustainable energy, others are more random, like one involving enco🍷uraging juice making and drinking. Then, there's the "we all wear bags" initiative, which is exactly what it sounds like.
The different options allow you to build a better community, cause some chaos, or just go completely off the r🦩ails. The ༺choice is yours.
Build And Buy Bonanza
The build and buy items for this pack are variable and practical. While unfortunately there are no kitchen uni♏ts or appliances, most other household basic🔴s are covered. You'll find sofas, beds, dressers, tables, chairs, bookcases, lights, plants, and a bathroom set, minus the shower. You'll also find the most adorable toddler bed and a selection of new items relating to gardening and crafting. There are also doors, windows, wallpaper, and flooring that allow you to create shipping container buildings that look authentic.
The biggest bonuses for builders are dumpsters and fabricators. Diving for Deals in dumpsters can unearth a whole range of furniture from your catalog in various states of repair. However, it also yields some gems from days gone by, including the original TV and table sets from The Sims.
Create A 90s Sim
The Create A Sim clothꦚing options are also unique. They follow a trend of looking like they are sustainable and recycled. Patches are in, multiple fabrics are in, and so is a delightful jeans and asymmetrical denim skirt combo we've not seen in the wild since the 1990s.
As always male items are more limited, as are those for children and toddlers. However, what we do have is practical and (mostly) stylish. It's likely to combine well with any knitted items that we get in the upcoming Knitting Stuff Pack.
The Tiny Details
The main thing you need to know about this expansion and its accompanying patch is that it brings so many tiny details that you'll be discovering them for weeks and maybe even months to come. Despite playing the game for a few days, trying to take in as much as possible, it still feels like I'm barely scratching the surface. As was the case with Discover University, this pack offers a huge amount of gamep🔯lay and contains a lot of hidden secrets.
From the new random phone call options to the fire brigade that I'm glad to have since Knox has a habit of setting fires when you visit, this pack will give you secrets for a long time to come. So much so that this article barely covers the basics. Eco Lifestyle will truly change your Sims lifestyle.
The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle is out now for PC, Mac,♈ PlayStation 4, and💯 Xbox One. A code for the expansion was provided to TheGamer.
