The Sims 4's new expansion pack allows players to recycle furniture rather than just throw it away and🅰 ♛replace it. Here's how to do it.
More than 20 years on from when The Sims was first introduced to the gaming world, it's wild how far the series has come. Although there have been four installments to date, there have been numerous expansion packs to accompany each of those chapters. EA continues to come up with 🐟new and unique ways to expand its games, the latest of which makes The Sims more environmentally conscious.
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Sims 4's Eco Lifestyle pack lets Sims do any number of new things, 𝓰all in the name of reducing the size of their carbon footprint — including building a tiny house, harvesting their energy via solar panels, and farming insects for sustainable food. Yes, that last one is a real thing and now also a Sims thing.
Sims are also able to recycle/upcycle their furniture. In the past, when somethin🔜g broke or a player just fancied a change of scenery, it would be a case of selling it and buying something new. Sims can now develop the Fabrication skill. The more developed the skill, the better the Sim will become at recycling their furniꦡture using the Fabricator.
To use the Fabricator, the Sim will need to take the furniture they want rid of to it. They will then get a new currency called Bits and Pieces in return for that 🅠piece of furniture. Players ca☂n then use their acquired Bits and Pieces to purchase recycled items offered by the Fabricator and candle making station. For example, the Table Light costs 35 bits and 15 pieces.
The Fabricator can also be used to buy eco-upgrades for items your Sims already own, rather than ditching an item and replacing it entirely. The more the Fabricator gets used, and the higher a▨ Sim's Fabrication skill gets, the better the items on offer in exchange for Bits and 🌸Pieces. That includes items at the candle table as well as furniture from the Fabricator.
