This guide will give you some tips on how you can increase your Archeology skill in The Sims 4 and it'll show you everything that you can do as you progress through its ten skill levels.
How To Get The Archeology Skill
There are two ways to start learning the Archeology skill in The Sims 4. To learn the Archeology skill at home, you can purchase Archeology skill books by interacting with a bookcase, or you can visit Selvadorada and excavate any dig piles they might encounter in the seve🍬ral areas you can explor🎃e.
At first, your Sims can 𒊎improve their Archeology skill by doing any of these two 🌃activities, but as they begin leveling up, more interactions will become available, giving you other ways to increase your skill level. Here are the activities that will help Sims level up the Archeology skill:
- Excavating dig piles and dig sites in Selvadorada
- Studying art for historical insight
- Authenticating artifacts
- Extracting elements from metals
- Practicing archeological analysis on artifacts
- Writing Archeology skill books
- Listening to an Archeology Lecture
Doing any of the activities mentioned above while Focused will increase your Sim's learning speed.
It can be quite monotonous to wait for your Sim to simply read Archeology books or extract and analyze artifacts. To improve a Sim's Archeology skill, you should head out to the Belomisia Jungle district and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:explore the temples in Selvadorada. There is also a freeꦕ one that you can use at the Puerto Llamante Marketplace district in Selvadorada.
Is The Archeology Skill Worth It?
At this point, you might be wondering how profitable is the Archeological skill in The Sims 4. There are several highly profitable skills in this gaꩵme, for example, painting and gardening, so where exactly does Archeology stand here?
Dig sites can only be found in Selvadorada, which means you have to take your Sim out on vacation in order to encounter them - this can be a bit pricey. If you're low on Simoleons, you might want to stay at home and read Archeology books instead. Unfortunately, this way you won't be digging up any artifacts and will profit very little from this skill.
At first, you might have a hard time making money out of this skill. Especially since you need to reach level three of the Archeology skill to be able to authenticate artifacts and sell them. Unauthenticated artifacts are worth no more than 100 Simoleons, and if they're proven to be counterfeit after analysis, their price drops to half of what it was before. Thankfully, if the artifacts are genuine, they will become ten times more valuable than they were before authentication.
The value of an artifact is based on quality, rarity, and authenticity. As you increase your skill level, you'll be able to retrieve more artifacts from an excavation site, and you'll also find higher-quality artifacts more often than not. So, the Archeology skill can definitely be worth it if you make the most of your time at Selvadorada. You should consider it an investment, and in order to make as much money as possible, you should try to bring back as many artifacts with y🐽ou and, to save time, authenticate them back home.
