The Sims 4's latest expansion, Snowy Escape, lets your Sims explore Mt. Komorebi, a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Japanese-inspired world that offers winter sports to boost the adrenaline as well as plenty of more relaxing alternatives. You 🌺can choose to e🦋ither live on one of the residential lots in the area or head off for a vacation up in the mountains.
On the surface, this pack seems to be 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:crammed with new activities and ways to keep your Sim engaged but there are a few༒ things about the pack that just don't quite add up. We take a look at the things that don't make sense in Snowy Escape.
8 Onsen Rules 💛 🏅
An Onsen is a Japanese hot spring but the term is also used൩ for the bathhouses tha𝓡t often surround them. The Onsen lot is a new lot type in Snowy Escape but despite some of the traditional Onsen rules being implemented, other options make no sense.
There are locker rooms for Sims to use and signs trigger them to autonomously shower before they enter the hot springs. While we can understand that the game's teen rating may have influenced the decision to leave out the traditional nakedness when bathing, we don't quite understand why 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sims can WooHoo in there.
We can only assume the WooHoo option was mainly for isolated hot springs, rule breakers, or those with tubs in their homes but for such a cultural staple with a focus on hygiene and etiquette it just doesn't maꦐke sense.
7 Si𝓰ms Like To Get In Y✱our Personal Space
Even if Sims are obeying good etiquette in the Onsen it doesn't mean they aren🍨't still engaging in some very weird behavior. Quite often your Sim may be relaxing in the Onsen minding their own business when a stranger decides that the only po🎃ssible space to sit is right by your side.
If you aren't controlling your Sims you may also find that they do this to others, choosing to invade personal 𝓀space, rather than observe proper social distancing.
6 💜 Inappropriate Out🐬door Clothing
Once your Sims come out of the Onsen the craziness often doesn't improve. Despite the pre-b🐷uilt Onsen lot being in the middle of the snowy mountain neighborhood of Yukimatsu, your Sims will often decide to go outside before changing back intoꦕ their regular clothes.
This means Sims left to their own devices are often wandering around in their swimwear for a while before they realize this is a bad move. If you have temperature 🐟effects enabled then you'll need to be on the lookout for this particularly nonsensical behavior.
5 Father Winter Likes To Climb Mountains ꦰ
If you have a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:high enough rock climbing skill then you can grab a partner and set out to climb Mt. Komorebi. The expedition event will see you face cha🎉llenges as y൲ou make your way to the summit through three different areas.
For those who wish to spend their Wi🌞nterfest engaging in this activity, you'll find that you have an unexpected extra member of your party. Father Winter will seek you out, regardless of your location, and appear alongside you as you hike. It makes no sense at all but at least he's dressed appropriately.
4 Failing To Climb A Mountain Will Really Upset Your Partner ꦿ ൩
The new sentiments feature is a really great way of showing Sims memories in-game but the memories they hold aren't always good. Certain effects can actually have a negativꦰe effect on relationships and this can be quite long-lived.
When sending a Sim couple up Mt. Komorebi 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:make sure that you are well prepared because if you fail you'll notice that they aren't happ🦩y. One Sim is always the designated leader and the Sim who follows them will often be particularly irate about failure, sometimes holding a grudge for several days. It seems a littl𒐪e much, assuming you both survived of course.
3 You Can't Throw A Snowball ♏ 🔴
Snowy Escape will allow you to ski, snowboard, and sled. You can also climb sꦿnowy cliffs, slip on ice and trudge through deep snow. The snow festival al🐈so brings snow deep enough to make snow angels and snowmen.
Despite all these snow-related activities, your Sims cannot throw snowballs. While we understand that not everything can be in every pack, we do have the ab📖ility to throw water ballo𓂃ons, thanks to Seasons. This makes the absence of snowballs even more baffling.
2 🦂 There Are Two Sets Of Vending M﷽achines In The Same Place
Each neighborhood has a set of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Simmi and Bits 'n' Bobs v🌳ending machin♌es. However, for some reason one of the neighborhoods is very special and has two🧔 sets of identical machines very close together. The machines above look perfectly sensible but just around the corner is an absolutely identical set for no reason at all.
We could understand them being spaced apart but these are on two sides of the same building. We can only assume that the location was changed and the originaꦍl machines left alongside the r𓂃elocated ones.
1 🍷 The Vending Machines Are T.A.R.D.I.S's 𝐆
As well as the vending machines' locations, the machines themselves also make no sense. We'll admit we are impressed by their contents, especially the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:festival specific on🏅es that give you clothing, but we ca♈n't help think that a certain Doctor was involved in making them.
The hot and cold foo🌊d and drink machines do make some sense, although the meals are more complex than any we've found in a vending machine, the others become increasingly surreal. How did that entire outfit fit in the vending section of the machine in front of this Sim? Also, how do the skis fit and what are they made of?
These are questions we presumably won'tಞ ever get the answers to🦩. This is The Sims after all.
