The Sims 4 team has just surprised us all by 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:dropping a trailer for a new Stuff Pack, called Tiny Living. The first DLC drop of the year is due to be released by the end of the month on PC/Mac and early next month on consoles.
We can see that it's focused on the idea of small houses and compact builds, something much loved by many builders. The short ♍trailer gave us a glimpse at a few things we can expect, with some surprises being ꦿrevealed alongside the return of a much-loved favorite.
So what can we see that looks amazing and what was missing but we hope will be included? Here we break down our favorite things from the trailer and other informatio𒀰n and speculate about some extra items we really hope are included in the upcoming pack.
10 ಌ 🧸 Looking Forward To: Murphy Beds Returning
Murphy Beds. A much-loved staple of earlier versions of The Sims, we cannot wait to get these folding deathtraps back i൩nto our game. Especially since we have Universities, w𒁃ith dorms being ideal places to house these amazing multifunction beds, our builds need these space savers.
The trailer also appears to show sims becoming trapped in the beds, one of our favorite death types which appears to be returning. While we were sad that Discover University didn't offer us this opti🍷on, this new pack is turning those frowns ✨upside down.
9 ꧑ ꦓ Hope We Get: Bunk Beds
Honestly,🌃 we're not holding out much hope🌳 for this one but we can still keep wishing, until the pack drops at least.
Bunk Beds are our other much desired space-saving sleeping option and we need them, please! We know the Sims team have heard our pleas, so surely it's only🥂 a matter of time. A tiny living pack would be a perfect fit for them and their addition would also༒ be great for those building dorms and apartments.
8 🥂 Looking Forward To: New𝓀 Lot Trait
The new tiny living lot trait appears to be linked to what the team describes as "fun-sized challenges." The trailer shows a build 𒅌being under 100 tiles in size, so we assume this is part of the requirements needed but there may be more.
In return, Sims are offered lower bills and other perks, adding what sounds like a unique new way of building to the game. T♛he lower bills alone offer a nice realistic boost and the limits will give builders new challenges to enjoy.
7 Hope We Get: Ladders Or Spiral Stairs ඣ
Another wish on many Simmers lists is the humble ladder. Not only are they great for those bunk beds we menti✱oned but the option to use ladders to get up to treehoﷺuses, balconies or mezzanine floors would be amazing.
In a similar vein, we'd also love 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:spiral stairs. The new flexible stairs are great but they still take up a lot of space. Having spiral stairs would allow our sims to🍒 make the best use out of the limited space we'll have available in tiny builds, especially tall ones.
6 Looking Fo♋rward To: Space-Saviꩵng Furniture
Glimpses of different builds shown in the trailer unveiled to us some cute new space-saving furniture. The furniture which includes a TV and books stacked up on a cupboard intrigued us and it turns out it's a combo unit. According to The Sims , the game includes an "all-in-one Stereo, TV and Bookshelf, whi♐💟ch is what we assume this is.
Items of this type, as well as the small chairs, tables and sofas are giving us some great options for small spaces. Combined 💯with new trinkets and the existing clutter we're in decorating heaven.
5 💫 Hope We Get: Small𓆉 Curtains
One of the things we've always found bizarre about the build mode of The Sims 4 is the lack of plain and simple one tile curtains. We do at least have blinds in different sizes, thanks mostly to My First Pet Stuff, but curtains are still lacking.
Small builds mean small windows and we n❀eed more sensible short length curtains or short blinds so that the tiny windows can be better utilized. Plain swatches and patterns are fine as neutral means versatile. Here's hoping this one comes true.
4 ﷽ 🍨 Looking Foward To: Comfortable Clothing
One of the great things about the clothing in Discover University is that it's very wearable. The selection contains lots of casual, comfortable evℱeryday clothes. From the s🍷ample we see in the trailer this pack looks to follow the same theme.
Big chunky knits, loungewear, PJs to slob around in. These are all things we love to wear at home and our Sims♍ havꦡing more options to dress in this way makes us happy. We aren't expecting many clothes but we'll happily take wearability over quantity.
3 Hope We Get: Mo🐭re Clutter 🦂
One thing bu𝔍ilders can never get enough of is clutter. We love it. Clutter items can make a house feel more like home. Plants, ornaments, candles, photo frames, and trinkets. We want it all.
The trailer shows us tantalizing glimpses of some new clutter, as well as items that appear to be able to house clutter at tཧhe very least, like the tiny desk pictured above. Being able to place more clutter without cheats🎀 also makes our hearts happy.
2 Looking Forward To: A New Death ꦕ
Many Simmers cannot get enough of new deaths in the gam🔯e. Sending our Sims on a trip to meet Grim is something so many love to do. If we can do this in a unique and unusual way then all the better.
The traditional Sims Murphy Bed could kill you and a implies that this new version is no exception. Space-saving and life-ending in one new item? W𒁏e'll take it and enjoy the nostalgia trip this brings those of us who have been playing for a long time.
1 ꦏHope We Get: Small Rugs
We love rugs but some of them are simply far too bi෴g. While you can scale them down, there are sometimes issues with this and it can require you to have to enable cheats. Small builds need small things and rugs should be part of this.
We'd like to see some small sca💖le beautiful rug, especially some with a pop of color. This would add a lot to a tiny space when it comes to inter𒉰ior design.
