With the release of The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle your game is about to change in a big way. Every alters the game in some way but few manage to touch almost every aspect of gameplay. However, Eco Lifestyle is on a par with Seasons for how its new 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:functionality and features affect almost every single world and add new challenges and dimensions to the wꦍay yoඣu play.
As well as bringing new clothing, furniture, traits, and aspirations, Eco Lifestyle also brings new ways to live. Your Sims can choose to embrace either an eco-🍸friendly and self-sufficient way of life or a profit-seeking polluting lifestyle. You can then watch and see how their decisions affect the world around them. Here are the changes you can expect as yoܫu start living your new life.
10 It Offers A Whole New Wo🗹rld ꦇ
The pack comes with the brand new world of Evergreen Harbor. This setting is split into three neighborhoods with each one having differing levels of pollution🦩. One is neutral, one industrial, and another green. The size and price of houses and plots reflect the appeal of each area. However, this can all change.
The game allows you to change the carbon footprints of every neighborhood on ಌan individual level using new features like community action plans and renewable 🌊energy.
9 It𒁏 Affects (Almost) Every World
The eco footprint system has been rolled out to almost the entireꦬ game, with most neighborhoods starting on a neutral footing. The vacation worlds of Granite Falls and Selvadorada are excluded, likely due to the fact that Sims cannot reside there and thus cannot affect the world's climate long term.
Strangerville is also unaffected by the envir🎃onment system but this is said to be due to the way the world already has several existing phased environmental changes as p♛art of the unique storyline.
8 It Lets Us Have A N.𒁃A.P
The N.A.P is the Neighborhood Action Plan and there are lots to choose from. While some are obviously going to help the community's carbon footprint, like using less energy or switching to♛ green energy, others are much more random.
You can have plans that promote the arts for example, or y🌞ou can have some that are more random. One of our favorites is the proposal that everyone wears paper bags, because why not?
7 🦹 It Brings Sims Together In Neighborhoods ♈
It's not just the newer w༒orlds that have neighborhoods now. Every single world, including Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, and Newcrest, has neighborhoods. These typ♛ically comprise three to five lots and each neighborhood can make its own decisions about N.A.P.s.
Evergreen Harbor has noticeboards to display information about upcoming votes and community action plan proposals. This system can be adopted in all worlds, and voting can be 🐼done through the mail as well as via a board, meaning a lack of community board doesn't matter.
6 It Allows Sims To Use G﷽reen Energy
Something many players have wanted for a while is the ability to use green energy. This expansion now offers two ways to generate energy. You can use fossil fuel♍-based generators that will produce more resources but have a negative impact on the environment or you can use solar or wind power and collect rain. These methods produce less energy but also have a positive environmental effect.
You'll also notice that the bills system has been overhauled and you can now see energy p𒁃ayments separately on your bills. These can be reduced by generating power and any excess you produce can be sold to offset other costs. They are also affected by the energy consumption of specific items.
5 It 🐬Changes The Ways ꦉWe Use Community Space
Community spaces are a new type of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:community lot and can be placed in any world. Sims in the surrounding area can then vote for its use. They can choose from a🐎 community garden, a maker space, or a marketplace.
The garden allowsജ Sims to grow plants together, the maker space is a place to make candles, restore, and recycle as 🧸well as craft items on the fabricator. Finally, the marketplace allows Sims to sell their crafted items to others or buy crafted and upcycled items.
4 🦹 It Gives Us New Careers 🐼
The pack comes with two new careers. These are Civil Designer and Freelance Crafte🧜r. The Civil Designer career works in a 𝕴similar way to other careers based on the work from home system. It offers the option of a rabbit hole workday or tasks which can be completed at home.
The Crafter career works like Freelance Writing and Programming, allowing Sims to choose from several different jobs. Work will need to be discussed, produced, and accepted by the client for your Sim to make money. However, unlike other freelance careers it spans more than one skill. You'll be able 🐠to take jobs covering juice making, candle making, and fabricating,🌳 allowing Sims to utilize a wider range of skills in the job.
3 It Provides More Gardening 🍸Options 🌞
For those who love gardening but whose Sims don't have space, the vertical garden was made for you. It allows ꦡyou to grow up to three plants in one grid space. The wooden frame is ideal for use on patios or in tiny gardens.
No longer will living in a tiny apartment in the city be a hindrance to being self-sufficient. You can grow your own fꦕruit, herbs, and vegetable🌞s in a fraction of the space.
2 It Aᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚdds New Traits And Aspirat𓆉ions
The new pack also comes with new traits, including the freegan trait. Freegans love to live as frugally as they can and will discourage spending of all kinds. Recycling, reusing, and growing your own food are huge wants of these Sims and they will get sad if they fail. They are also happy to eat food from the trash. You can also be a maker, who wants to build and create new things, a recycle disciple who is all about upcycling and recycling old items. There is also a green fiend trait and these sims just want to be eco friendly in general.
Alongside this are a new maker aspiration and an eco innovator aspiration, adding more traits and aspirations than usually expected. There are also new lot traits including the Reduce and Recycle trait ♊that changes the way trash generates and is collected.
1 🅷 It Allows Players To Really Embrace Trash
If you want to shun the green lifestyle the pack will also allow that as well. You can smog up the world with industry, pollute your surroundings, and choose neighborhood activities that promote fun oཧver frivolity. You can eve🐭n use cheats to add some extra trash to your life.
The pack also gives us dumpster diving that will allow sims to find food, crafting materials, and scuffed up furniture that can be upcycled, reused, or sold. Sims with a huge amount of trash love can even choose to sleep or even woohoo in the dumpster. Just watch out for the flies, while you 💟can attempt to bond with them if it goes wrong the result requires a visit from Grim.
