The Sims is a lot of things, a place you can create your own virtual world and customize it and the people who live there however you like chief among them. With so many items and symbols synonymous with The Sims over the course of more than two decades, it's a shame there haven't been more opportunities to own𓆉 merch pulled from the series in real life. That changes right now as The Sims Shop, an official online outlet filled with clothes, accessories, and more, all of it either pulled from or inspired by the games, is now open.

EA and Maxis have already shared Sims fans modeling some of the items from The Sims Shop's first wave of items. Mainly clothing to kick things off as items sporting instantly recognizable symbols featured in every Sims game include t-shirts, sweatshirts, and enamel pins should you want to flaunt your fandom in a slightly more subtle manner. The ico❀nic plumbob, for instance, which is the green diamond-like thing that floats above the head of the Sim you're controlling and has been how you identify that since the very first game.

Merch will be made available in batches, and you can sign up through to make sure you're the first to know about new items as soon as they're revealed. Some of the items will also be available for a limited time, so if there's anything you like the lookꦜ of in this first wave of products, you'll want to pick it up sooner rather than later as there's no telling how long it might be available. As for what's included, and what's still to come, a closer look at the images on the site show a Sims water bottle, and socks that say "sul sul" on them.

Merch for a series that has been around as long as The Sims, and has only grown in popularity, is a no-brainer. Especially if some of that merch is stuff you've seen in-game. Official merch spun from the series has been available in the past, sold through Threadless as recently as 2019. That storefront has been closed for a while now though. Hopefully The Sims Shop will stick around longer and will now be the go-to place for Sims merch for years to ♚come.

EA and Maxis will want to continue to grow The Sims' player base as much as possible over the coming months as it continues to build to the launch of The Sims 5. Still codenamed Project Rene, the latest update in the next game in the series came in September when 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:EA confirmed it w📖ill be free to downlo⭕ad.
