Joining an ever-expanding list of games to be pushed out to a 2021 release is ol' 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Stanley Parable:Ultra Deluxe, as ꦬannounced by developers Galactic Cafe and Crows Crows Crows yesterday.
But we can forgive them, not only because we'd much rather wait a bit longer for a game that deserves that extra bit of tweaking, but mainly because of the way in which the developers made the announcement. It was exactly the k✃ind of thing you'd expect from them, really.
They d🍸id the mandatory Twitter announcement thing, but of course took it a step Stanley-er:
Which, i🃏n case you aren't seeing it, is just the but with some Stanlification performed on it. It's okay if you didn't spot that right away, we get it. It was so seamlessly edited, anyone could have overlooked that.
Of course they didn't stop th♐ere, though. They also borrowed and made it their own:
Yes and then they took it even a little bit further, bringing in a reference more subtle than either of the last two combined. Have a look and see if you can figure out which Marvel th⭕ing ღthey've surreptitiously woven into the announcement:
Having taken the meaning of "lazy" to new lows with this one, the developers managed to inject a spurt of humor into a sad scenario that has become pretty much the norm at this point. 2020 has done a real bang-up job of messing up basically all industries to some extent, with the gaming industry 🌄being no exception.
Other big titles who have suffered at the hands of the pandemic include 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Vampire - The Masquerade Bloodlines 2, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Destiny 2: Beyond Light, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Remothered: Broken Porcelain, to name but a handful.
🧸It must be an incredibly difficult time for developers to try stay on top of their pre-set deadlines, so we're content enough to sit back a bit and let them have some more breathing room while they get thi🎃ngs straightened out.
So, after a third delay, The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is now 🍨due to release next year. Let's hope it's third time 🔯lucky.
