Sonny's Endurance stat is only matched by his Strength. Despite this, Sonny's strength should be saved for physical demanding tasks li🔴ke damaging generators or attacking with bone ♔shards.
One of Sonny's lowest stats is his Toughness, meaning he succumbs to injuries faster than all other Victims. This is why you shouldn't use Sonny's Strength to grapple with Family members. Only confront a killer as a last-ditch attempt to 𝕴escape.
To avoid members of the Family, use Sonny's Heightened Sense ability. This ability allows you to detect noise made by anyone nearby and show you their location.
How To Play As Sonny
At the start of a game, look for a health item and a tool. Sonny's lower Stealth means it will take a while to obtain a tool, but his Proficiency allows him to unlock doors fairly quickly. You should be one of the first to unlock a basement exit, especially if you don't have Connie on your team.
When escaping the basement, use Heightened Sense while on the first floor to detect anyone nearby. If you're the first to leave the basement, you can be sure that anyone you detect will be a family member. It's best to assume whoever you detect is a hostile presence rather than an ally.
Heightened Sense recharges quickly; use it frequently throughout a match. Especially before performing any tasks. Avoid confronting Family members at any cost.
Sonny's Proficiency makes any escape option a viable choice if the situation demands you go for one exit over another. In a perfect scenario, aim for the Road Exits and the Rear Exits. Sonny can easily take care of the generator if it's still active.
If you go for the Fuse Box and Pressure Valve exits, avoid jumping into any wells. The fall damage from jumping into a well is much stronger due to Sonny's low Toughness.

Go for perks that complement Sonny's Endurance and Strength. The perks in his skill tree will help you escape chases more easily and stun Family members for longer.
