The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings flew under many people's radar when it first released but with the massive success of The Witcher Netflix series, it'🐎s a good time to go back and play it, especially to familiarize yourself with the cha🦹racters.

A huge cast of characters was introduced in Witcher 2, and while the games are not considered canon, there's still a chance we'll get to see some familiar faces in the upcoming season of the Netflix series since most of the major characters introduced in this game first made their appearances in the book series. Let's take a look at some of the characters we could see in season 2 of The Witcher.

10 Dethmold

Let's start this list off with a secondary character from the game but one that does appear in the books, so it's likely we'll get to see him in the live-action series. Dethmold is the mage adviser to King Henselt in Witcher 2, and you'll be seeing a lot of him if you pick Roache's path for the 💯story.

Even though he's loyal to Henselt and Kaedwen as a kingdom, he turns out to be a bit of a sadist, relishing in to✨rturing prisoners and brutally mutilating victims with his magic. If Dethmold appears in the Netflix series, it's unlikely he and Ge꧃ralt would get along.

9 ✅ 💞 Assire Var Anahid

While we got to see a fair bit of the mages in season 1 of The Witcher, season 2 is sure to bring even more mages into the fold, and that could include Assire Var Anahid. Though in the games she only appeared in Witcher 2, she is featu🌺red in several of the books, so there's a good chance we might get to🍰 see her.

Assire is a mage in service to Nilfgaard so we could see her working alongside Fringilla, but more th🏅an that, she's related to a character already introduced in the Netflix series. Assire is the great-aunt of the soldier that spent all season chasing after : Cꦬahir.

8 Veꦺrnon Roache

Vernon Roache arrives alongside Geralt

It's already known that the Netflix series is only going to be following the books but we don't see why it can't include Vernon Roache, a character that only appears in the games. Witcher 2 does a great job working with the establis♌hed canon so it wouldn't be too difficult to include Roache.

Roache is the commander of the Blue Stripes, an elite unit of the Temerian military under King Foltest, who's🌃 already made his appearance in the show. Even though Roache isn't a canon character, he'd fit right in with the rest of the cast.

7 King Henselt 🔯

The world of The Witcher is filled with kingdoms each with their own monarchs, but so far in the Netflix series we've only got to see two, and one of them was killed off. Season 2 is sure to expand the world of The Witcher, so it's not unreasonable to believe that King Henselt could make an appearance in the 👍upcoming season.

Make no mistake, this king of Kaedwen is not a good person by any stretch. In Witcher 2 he spends a lot of t🍸ime trying to exterminate non-humans, and in the books, he abandons his allies in a bid to expand his 🌳kingdom.

6 Sìle De Tansꦫarville

We got to see a lot of the Brotherhood of Sorcerers in the first season as we followed Yennefer's and Triss's storylines, but the way the season closed out the sorcerers' story has us dying to see more of them, and h✨opefully, Sìle de Tansarville will be among them.

Uꦜnlike most other sorcerers, Sìle was more interested in dedicating her time with research rather than political intrigue, and she's one of th⛄e founding members of the Lodge of Sorceresses. She's even the one who named the organization "The Lodge". She's far too important of a character to leave out and hopefully, we'll be seeing her in season 2.

5 ꦇ Sask🐻ia The Dragonslayer

Admittedly, there may not be much chance that we'll see Saskia the Dragonslayer in the up👍coming season but given the time-hopping nature of the firs🧔t season, there's always a chance that she could show up.

Saskia played a major part in Witcher 2 but she also appears in one of the collections of short stories so there's a chance she can make an appearance. Plus, one could technically say that she's already bee🌠n introduced, since she is the daughter of the golden dragon Borch Three Jackdaws and was likely the one in the egg that Jackdaws rescued.

4 🐎 ꦓ Zoltan Chivay

Season 1 already introduced u📖s to one of the most memorable dwarven characters from the books in the foul-mouthed Yarpen Zigrin and maybe season 2 could introduce an equally memᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚorable dwarf, Zoltan Chivay.

Fans of the games know Zoltan well, but he wasn't introduced in the books until about the middle of the series. Even so, Zoltan played a big role in the books, helping fight against 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Nilfgaard and at one point, giving Geralt a dwarven sword called Sihil. It w🀅ouldn't be entirely unreasonable to introduce Zoltan as early as sea🌠son 2 but all we can do is hope.

3 Letho

Letho, like Vernon Roache, is a character that only exists in the games so it's very unlikely we'll ever see him make an appearance in the Netflix series but it would still be cool to see Letho make an appearance. Letho is a witcher from the Viper school who was behind the slaying of several kings in Witcher 2 but it doesn't have to go that route if he's introduced in the Netflix seꦏri🔯es.

Season 2 will feature the witchers from the Wolf school—Vesemir, Lambert, and Eskel—and it could be a good idea to introduce witchers from the other schools and it'd be interওesting if it's Letho.

2 Iorveth

The treatment of non-humans in The Witcher is a major theme across the series and the same holds true for the games. Iorveth is an elf that only appears in Witcher 2 and ﷺhe's got a bone to pick𓂃 with humans. He's a commander of a unit of Scoia'tael, a group of non-humans that attack humans.

Even though Iorveth🐬 doesn't appear in the books, the Scoia'tael do, and they appear early on in the series. If the Scoia'tael makes an appearance in seas📖on 2, it wouldn't be unreasonable to include Iorveth.

1 Philippa Eilhart 🧸 🐈

Finally, there's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Philippa Eilhart, a major character in both the books and the games. Philippa is one of the founding members of the Lodge of Sorceresses and she♔'s considered its leader.

Philippa is one of the most cunning mages in the Witcher universe and there aren't any mages that aren't remarkably cunning. She's in all of the books of the main Witcher saga so, of all the characters on this list, Philippa is the most likely to appear in season 2 of The Witcher.
