Nearly five years ago, CD Projekt RED graced us with their magnum opus at the time, The Witcher III: Wild Hunt. After that, just when the players thought the game couldn't get any better, they introduced two expansions, namely Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine💖. Needless to say, it improved an already🍒 outstanding game.

Some might even say that they DLCs' main quests and content were better than the main game's and that understandable; a host of new unique and charming characters from Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine turned out to be stellar figures. Among these, 10 stand out best; the DLCs would have b༒een nothing without them.

10 ANNA HENRIETTA 🎉

Of course, Geralt's warm wine-addled vacation wouldn't be complete without the fiery and fabled Queen of Toussaint, Anna Henrietta. Up 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:until Blood and Wine, she wa𝔍s never really officially adapted into a visual character🍰.

Anna Henrietta was adamant, stubborn, intelligent, and sweet at the same time. Those traits are hard to combine into one person yet Anna Henrietta brandishes her royal pedigree with finesse that she's quite unforgettable, whether she's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:praising or scolding Geralt.

9 🅘 💯 IRIS VON EVEREC

Iris von Everec

In contrast to Anna's radiant shine in Blood and Wine, Iris von Everec in Hearts of Stone is pretty much a൩n agonizing personification of sadness. She wanted nothing more than to live a happy and content life with her husband, Olgierd.

Olgierd, thanks to the pressure of giving Iris a good life of nobility, managed to ruin everything and leave Iris. In the end, she was one of the characters in Hearts of Stone who suffered the most, someone quite unique in The Witcher games.

8 VLODOMI𒉰R VON EVEREC

Vlodomir von Everec is Olgierd's deceased and now ghost bro🎉ther who was crucial to the main quest. His appearance was only short but how it affected the game and the story was phenomenal. Vlodomir i🀅s a certain life of the party and turned Geralt from a dull cloud to a rainbow.

He's by no means an innocent and morally good character but the way he takes the romantic initiative and knows how to have fun is something Geralt should have thanked him for considering he leไnt Vlodomir his body.

7 SHANI

Shani

Shani is Geralt's old friend from back in the books and she was a primary love interest and a big part of the main quest in the first Witcher game. That's why her appearance in Hearts of Stone was a pleasing fan service and a𝄹 nod to her character.

After all, she was one of Geralt's most "normal" romance options in the games. Shani often provides a more laid back perspective of the world where her woes are actually more relatable for modern-day people. As a result, th💖ere's really nothing to dislike about her.

6 DETTLAFF

Yet another tragic character in the game would be Blood and Wine's secondary antagonist, Dettlaff van der Eretein. Like Hearts of Stone's Iris, De🍸tlaff's sorrow only befell him due to his love for someone. The difference is that Detlaff was betrayed and used.

Being a vampire with no understanding ℱof humanity's penchant for bad morality, Detlaff only knew that betrayal begets fury and vengeance. While his sense of justice was certainly not wrong, it was rather misdirected. While it's not hard to sympathize with Dettlaff, his mass murder streak makes him a polarizing character which is good for a villain.

5 🍷 SYLVIA ANNA💎

Syanna

Speaking of polarizing characters as villains, Sylvia Anna or Syanna can prove to be as much a tortured soul as Dettlaff. She was based on Renfri from The Last Wish books, meani𝔉ng she was born with 💛a negative prophecy connected to her. Hence, Syanna was cast out and left to die by knights.

She then grew up as a bandit and swore revenge on the very knights who abused her. If only she had been more transparent about this to Dettlaff or Anna Henrietta then no collateral damage would have happened. Still, Syanna's flaw as a human makes her one of the more compelling characters in Blood and Wine.

4 EMIEL ♌REGIS ౠ

Regis

Truth be told, Geralt nor Toussaint likel🌠y would not have survived Dettlaff's onslaught if not for Regis. He was the key to finding and stopping Dettlaff-- he's also a very sophisticated key, perhaps even more sophisticated than a certain narcissistic bard.

Regis, despite his 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:superior intelligence and objectively better species, remained humble and compassionate. That's♎ a rare quality for a bloodsucking predator🃏. Conversations and interactions with Regis were also always delightful and his actions reinforce his good character despite having an inherently evil origin.

3 GERALT OF RIVIA ꩵ

Let's not forget the most important character of all, Geralt of Rivia. He's one of the best blank slates a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:story-driven RPG can have. Aꦕt the same time, he's also not a nobody, making his interac♕tions with the world more meaningful.

Geralt is also quite flexible as far as unchangeable characters go since he can get to be orderly or chaotic-- sometimes 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:even slightly evil. However, he works best when he confronts morally grey areas and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:makes decisions accordingly. Not many RPG characters can handle those as well as ﷺGeralt♔ does.

2 ꦫ OLGIERD VON EVERE🦋C

Olgierd

If there was one person who probably could have stolen Geralt's role as the main character, that would be Olgierd von Everec. This is a character who deserves his own game. His backstory is just as tragic, he's more visually appealing (subjectively), and he's certainly 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:less blunt than Geralt.

In fact, Olgierd nearly got away with tricking a devil. That proves he can be more cunning and smarter than a witcher. Olgierd can even be ౠa better antihero than Geralt due to his r🍷egretful and sinful past. That's why the fight between them was rather satisfying in the game.

1 ꦫ GAUNTER O'DIMM

Gaunter

Gaunter O'Dimm was such a diabolical villain, he easily earns the top spot as the big bad in The Witcher games even though the Wild Hunt were a bigger threat. His name's initials also literally form the acronym G.O.D., which is rather ironic since he's the devil with whom Olgierd made a deal.

When it comes to being a villain, Gaunter is also the most interesting out of all The Witcher 3 monsters. He apparently controls time and runs around ruining people's lives or claiming their souls for entertainment. Much like Olgierd, G.O.D. deserves his own longer game where he's the villain-- the story possibilities are endless and he's just so unforgettable that he even reappears in the official Gwent game.
