Oxenfurt is the second-largest city in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Witcher 3, with Novigrad being the largest. As such, there are plenty of locations in and around this bustling city to see and vis🌜it. CD Projekt Red really did a great job making Oxenfurt feel alive, with enough locations to keep you busy.
Since Oxenfurt is a place that Geralt visits many times over the course of Witcher 3's story, there ar🙈e many locations both in the city proper and in the surrounding area you'll want to know about and keep in mind. Let's take a look at some.
10 𝔉 Armorer And Blacksmith
Some of the most important things a witcher needs are the swords on his back a🐻nd a nice suit of armor to protect himself, so the armorer and blacksmith in 💙Oxenfurt are places you're going to want to visit a few times in the early to middle part of the game.
The armorer, located west of the Novigrad Gate, is a great place to stock up on crafting supplies and basic armor. Plus, this armorer sells Ibrahim Savi's first map which starts the scavenger hunt for the Bear School Gear. The blacksmith, located east of the West♏ern Gate, sells a few good weapons for your level when you first arrive.
9 Barber
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Hunting monsters⛦ can be filthy work. Geralt often has to trudge through murky swamps or disgusting sewers, so when he has some downtime between quests, it's important to freshen up at the barber.
The barber in Oxenfurt is located near the main square, just south of The Alchemy inn, where Geralt can get a haircut and a shave. Since Geralt is an already established character, there aren't many ways to customize his appearance. But with a n✱ew haircut and some facial hair, you can have Geralt looking like a new man.
8 Herbalist's Huꦬt ﷽
The Herbalist's Hut, located northeast of Oxenfurt, is an especially important location you should keep in mind, and it's a good idea to visit therꦛe a few times during the earlier parts of the game.
There are many Herbalist Huts scattered throughout Witcher 3, but this is one of the more conveniently located huts. This hut is owned by a halfling named Otto Bamber, and he offers a great selection of alchemical recipes to enhance your potions. Plus, if you have the Hearts of Stone DLC, you can find a ⛦full set of New Moon armor in the hut's basement.
7 ﷽ 🍰 Aeramas' Abandoned Manor
There are a lot of ruins strewn across Witcher 3, each has its own history. Ae꧂ramas' Abandoned Manor is no different. At first glance, the ruinous manor may seem norꦑmal, but it hides a dark secret: cheese.
There is a fun little side quest at🌃 this manor that involves sorcery and cheese but the main reason you'd want to keep Aeram🎉as' Abandoned Manor in mind is because it's where you can find the diagram for the Enhanced Feline armor, which you can find in a chest on the top floor of the manor.
6 🧔 🎃 Est Tayiar
Est Tayiar is a ruined ancient elven city that was swallow💧ed up by the earth after its citizens started dying off mysteriously. The ruins that remain above ground are overgrown with vines and they make for a beautiful sight, but the reason to keep this location in mind is not for how nice it looks.
These ruins are the setting of the "Redania's Most Wanted" , where Geralt explores Est Tayiar in search of Philippa Eilhart. Also within these ruins you can find the schematics for a rare silver sword associated with the C🍰at School gear.
5 Sewers
As gross as it may seem, another location in Oxenfurt that🎀'd be a good idea to keep in mind is the sewers, which you can access through the well in the main square of the city. There's much more within than just deadly monsters, and it's definitely worth exploring.
Not only are the sewers where you can find the schematics for the enhanced version of the Cat School armor trousers, but in the Hearts of Stone🐓 DLC, it plays a major role. In the DLC, the sewers are where the Toad Prince resides.
4 ♈ The Alchemy
Not to be confused with a store where you can buy alchemical supplie🌄s, The Alchemy is actually an inn situated in the main square, almost in the very center of the city. It's important to keep the Alchemy in mind because you'll be visiting it several times over the course of𒀰 your playthrough.
First of all, you can 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:play Gwent with the innkeeper, Stjepan, which is a good enough reason on its own, but you'll also be spending a lot of time there during the Hearts of Stone DLC.
3 𝔉 Borsodi Auction House
You can find the Borsodi Auction House during the main game in the north of the city but you can't access it until the Hearts of Stone DLC, when Geralt has to retrieve ꦚhis stolen swords at the auction.
Even though Geralt doesn't end up finding his swords in the auction house, there's a number of reasons to keep this location in mind. There's a funny little 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Harry Potter easter egg, and ꦑthere's an encounter with a countess that's much more poignant if you beat the main game first.
2 🀅 Oxenfurt Academy 💙
Oxenfurt Academy is the main reason that Oxenfurt is so well-known. The university is known renowned throughout the world of The Witcher and has some pretty notable alumni, like Dand✅elion and Shani.
Like the auction house, Oxenfurt Academy is a place you can find during the main playthrough, but one that you can't access until the Hearts of Stone DLC, where you can ๊finally explore the small isꦐland.
1 ♛ Temeri🍃an Partisan Hideout
Finally, there's the Temerian Partisan Hideout, where the remains of Temeria's army still fight for their independence - but now with guerrilla warfare. This is an especially cool location if you've played Witcher 2 sin🌌ce the soldiers here are lead by Vernon Roche.
You can't find this location from any notice boards or quests but if you head north from the Herbalist's Hutಌ, a short cutscene will trigger and you'll know you're close. There isn't much to do there except play Gwent with Roche, but it's still a location worth keeping in mind.
