9 ♒ Choice 1: Kaer Morhen 🦄
After the "Battle of Kaer Morhen" quest, all of your companions attend 𒉰a funeral for those who died in the fight. Ciri is furious with herself and the choices made during the fight, resulting in her asking Geralt for advice.
At this point, you can either tell her to relax or tell her you can lift her spir🍎its. Telling her to relax results in both of you drinking, resulting in Ciri still focusing on the battle. This decision leaves a negative effect on the ending. If you choose to lift her spirits, you engage in a light-hearted snowball fight with her. This has a positive effect on the ending you receive.
8 Choice 2: Vi🐼siting the Emperor
Right after the first decision, Geralt will talk with Ciri about what to do next. You can either meet with the Em🤪peror and receive compensation, or head to Velen and deal with Imlerith.
This decision doesn't grant a positive or negative effect on the ending but rather enables one of the endings to occur in place of another one. Visiting the Emperor will bring another critic𓂃al ending choice and prevent the good ending from occurring, but not visiting the Emperor prevents said decision and an alterna🎀tive ending.
7 Choice 3: Accepting the Emperor's Reward 🍒
If you do deci🦩de to visit the Emperor, be prepared 🧸to make yet another decision. When you arrive with Ciri, he greets her then offers compensation to Geralt in front of her.
You can either accept the money he offers as thanks for saving Ciri or refuse the compensation. If you accept it, you receive a massive chunk of cash but gain a negativ♔e point towards the ending. However, declining it will provide a black Nilfgaardian mare and grant a positive point towards the ending, as Ciri will think you saved her because y🌊ou love her rather than wanting a reward.
6 Choice 4: Speak with a Sorceress 🌠
In the "Final Preparations" quest, there come༺s a time where Ciri is requested to speak to a sorceress. Ciri doesn't know what to do in this situation, so she asks Geralt for advice.
You can either let her go by herself or accompany her. While going with Ciri sounds like the best thing to do, it actually causes Ciri to doubt her confidence as you talk for her and handle the🌸 sಞituation yourself. This has a negative effect on the ending you receive. However, letting her go alone will help instill confidence and cause a positive effect on the ending you receive.
5 Choice 5:꧅ Betrayal ✃
In "Battle Preparations," Ciri gets a feeling that Avallac'h is꧃ hiding something from the group. With the help of Geralt and Yennifer, they find his laboratory and realize that Avallac'h not only hates Ciri but has a massive obsession with her.
It's at this point she feels emotionally betrayed and gets furious. Ciri wants to destroy most of his lab and looks to Geralt for guidance. You can let her or try to calm her down. Calming her makes her feel insecure about herself and results in a negative effect on the ending. Immediately after you make that decision, you will head outside and Ciri will mention that she wants to pay her respects to Skjall. You can choose to accompany her ෴or tell her there isn't enough time.

There are few endings in ꦐvideo games that are as heartbreaking as this one. To receive this gut-wrenching ending, players must make more negative decisions towards Ciri than positive ones.
Visiting the Emperor is irrelevant for this ending to trigger. Ciri doesn't make it out alive in this ending, presumably ending the White Frost but dying with it. Geralt hunts for Ciri's Witcher medallion that has been stolen by one of the crones in Crookback Bog. With the help of a werewolf, Geralt slays the crone and retrieves it. He sits in a building crying to himself while 𝓡he gets swarmed with denizens of the swamp. It's unclear if Geralt survives, 🌟but the imagery at the end is so heartbreaking it's almost worth seeing on its own.
