While yo💧u're playing , you'll fight against several different types of monsters in your travels. Some of them will be classified as werewolves others as vampires or ghouls. ♛There is no shortage of ferocious beings tucked away inside of Geralt's Beastiary.

However, there is also the common beast; these are typically creatures you'll reg🔴ularly find while trekking across the various game regions. They include animals like bears, wolves, wild dogs, and more. Usually, they're not necessarily "monstro💎us" in nature, but something you might see in real life added to the game as an extra obstacle.

7 Wild Dogs

Wild Dogs in Witcher 3

Sadly, dogs are not a man's best friend in The Witcher, aside from in a quest or two. Geralt doesn't exactly get to make friends wi♒th Sparky💝. If you see any wild dogs around, your best bet is to run in the other direction or whip out your sword.

Wild dogs often travel in packs, and they won't hesitate to at🍒tack you or Roach. Luckily, they're easily defe🉐ated and the weakest beasts in the game. If you coat your sword in Beast Oil, then you should be able to whip through them with incredible ease.

After killing a dog, be sure to loo𝓰t their corpses for raw meat and dog tallow. Dog tallow is used in a lot of potions and can certainly come in handy.

6 Wolves

White Wolves in Witcher 3

Aside from wild dogs, wolves are the next most common beast you'll encounter while explorౠing the Con🅷tinent. There are regular wolves and white wolves. You'll find them both on the mainland and the isles of Skellige. Like the other beasts on this list, you can coat your sword with Beast Oil to make combat against wolves easier.

They are not altogether that difficult to beat, but they can prove challenging when a pack of them gangs up on you all at once. It's not uncommon for wolves to work with bigger monsters, like werewolves, as💎 an additional obstacle. Sometimes you'll notice several wolves join inꦅ a fight to make it more difficult.

Once in a while, you might see an NPC with a pet wolf, but most encounters will be adversarial. Make💖 sure to loot them after you've killed them for raw meat, dog tallow, wolf hide, and wolf's liver. Igni can be very helpful when fighting with them if you want to defeat multiple simultaneously.

5 𒐪 Wild Boars ♉

Boars in Witcher 3

You won't encounter wild boars until you start playing the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Hearts of Stone expansion. You'll me⛦et them hidden deep in Redania areas nor♉th of Velen and Novigrad. Then they'll show up in places like Toussaint and the Gustfields.

After you kill a wild boar, loot them for their tusks, pelt, and raw meat. Sometimes you'll only face off against one boar, but occasionally they'll gang up on you, forcing you to fight multiple at the🙈 s൲ame time.

Wild boars are trickier to defeat than wolves as they move faster, and even after they lunge at Geralt, they can quickly counter a🅘nd charge again. It's helpful to use signs on them if you can, Yrden ಞand Igni are particularly effective.

4 Bears

Bear in Witcher 3

Bears are a major nuisance in The Witcher 3. They're much harder to defeat than the average wolf or 🙈wild dog. While a bear isn't going to challenge you as much as say, a Fiend, encountering a wild Gri🅺zzly is no joke, and it wouldn't be smart to underestimate them.

If you do happen to come across a bear while exploring, they have a few weaknesses you can use to make the battle easier. Like all beasts, they're weak to Beat Oil and the Quen and Igni signs. Once you kill a bear, you can generally loot items🔥 like bear hide, bear, fat, or raw meat.

Generally, you'll find bears near places of power. It's very hard to deflecᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚt a bear attack, so don't count on parrying techniques. The good news is, bears are solitary creatures and don't travel in packs.

3 Panthers

Panthers in Witcher 3

While pretty to like at, panthers can also be quite deadly. Luckily for players, panthers don't enter the game until you reach Toussaint and the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Blood and Wine DLC. They are associated with several different quests 🤡in the region.

Beast oil is their only weakness. Once they're dead, you can loot their c✱orpses for fur scrap, raw meat, and cured leather. Panthers are unique from other beasts you'll encounter in the game because they're known to sud𓆏denly "retreat."

Except they don't really. In reality, panthers will disappear for a moment so they can try and lunge-attack and take you by surprise. If you ever played 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Shadow of the Tomb Raider, then you pro⛦bably have experience fighting panthers, the comba𓆉t is a little similar in some ways.

2 🍸 Three Little Pigs 🅺

Three Little Pigs in Witcher 3

The "three little pigs" are part of a boss battle you'll encounter in the Blood and Wine DLC, but they are considered part of the Beast ranking. The pigs and the Beast of Beauclair are two of the biggest and fiercest beasts you'll encounter and the only ones🅠 that are special since they don't recur in other places like wolves, bears, dogs, etc.

They exist within the Fablesphere and are not docile like their fairy tale counterparts. Instead, the pigs have transformed into monstrous beings 🐈over the years. However, fighting them is not dissimilar to how you would approach combat with wild boars. Still, they are more challenging and can be difficult foes if you're not prepared. They are weak to beast oiﷺl.

1 Beast of 🏅Beauclair

Beast of Beauclair

The Beast of Beauclair, formerly known as Dettlaff van der Eretein, is a deadly serial killer that plagues Toussaint. It's a very tough boss battleꦡ and easily the strongest "beast" in the game. However, unlike the other beasts, the Beast of Beauclair is not weak to beast oil for some reason. Instead, it is only 🎃weak against black blood and vampire oil.

What makes this confusing is that the beast is a Higher Vampire, one of the toughest monsters in the Beastiary. However, despite being a vampire, it is classified under "beast" in the Be💜astiary tab. It may have been a glitc﷽h, or the ferocity of the creature overruled the vampire ranking.
