168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will have undergone a variety of changes over the course of development, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:like most big sprawling RPGs, with various story threads and ide🦂as left on the cutting room floor. It's not uncommon for once promising ideas to be altered or be scrapped entirely, for reasons of which we'll never know, though it is interesting to see ideas that never made their way into the game.

Thanks to , a powerful set of♈ modding tools that allow players to go in and create their own quests and cutscenes, modders have managed to discover quite a lot of cut content that has been left in the game's files. A bunch of that cut content is related to a scrapped ending that seems to have been pretty far into development, one that would've cleared up one of the game's unresolved plot threads (thanks ).

Those that have played and finished The Witcher 3 will know that a big part of it involves Geralt recruiting 168澳洲幸运5🅰开奖网:various memꦯbers of the Lodge of Sorceresses in an attempt to stop the Wild Hunt and a second Conjunction of Spheres. It all goes off without a hitch, though we never find out what happens to them, regardless of who is in power when the credits roll. This🔯 scrapped ending would have explained everything, and greatly affected The Witcher lore as a result.

The Witcher 3's Scrapped Ending Has Been Restored By Modders

In the video above, , we can see that a modder by the name of Glassfish777 attempted to recreate the ending as best they could. It begins with Geralt waking up after being horribly wounded during ꧂the fight with Eredin, who then wakes up clearly having been out cold for a few days. Geralt then speaks to Yennefer, during which he can ask who won the war between Nilfgaard and Skellige, to which she replies "no one" thanks to the death of Crach anಞ Craite.

You then head to Crach an Craite's funeral (another character who wasn't mentioned at𒐪 all in the base game) with Triss in tow, before moving onto a scene between Yennefer, Triss, Geralt, and various members of the Lodge of Sorceresses. It's in this scene in which the big lore change happens, as Yennefer betrays the Lodge after ascertaining the location of Ciri, seemingly making some kind of bargain with Emhyr for their lives. Geralt isn't best pleased no matter what option you pick.

It's interesting to see what plans CD Projekt Red had for the Lodge, though we'll never know for sure why it was scrapped. It could be due to pacing, though it's a big piece of lore to just throw away, suggesting CD Projekt Red may have simply changed its mind on that side of the♔ story, and it was too late in development to replace it with anything. Either way, we have this alternate ending now, and who knows what other cut content modders may find𒉰 if the REDKit can drag this up.
