Throughout all the Witcher games, Geralt (and players) are thrust into difficult decision-making spotlights that will decide the fate of many lives of the world, eve🌠n. However, difficult as those decisions may be, one crossroad stands out better than the others: Triss or Yennefer? That conundrum pretty much overshadows everything else, and while Yennefer is the canon choice, Triss has become highly competitive by the third game.
Still, that isn't to say the hot redhead isn't without her own flaws and resonating transgressions. She has plenty, in fact, and in some of these, she wasn't even apologetic. Needless to say, Triss Merigold has done plenty of shameless things that usually won't fade in the memory of hardcore Witcher fans and those who prefer Team Brunnette. So, if you're looking to justify your picking Yennefer, then here are som꧑e of Triss' most shameless acts.
10 SHE LIED TO GERALT ABOUT THE LODGE ♔
Triss is a known member of the shady and deceitful Lodge of Sorceresses co-founded by none other than Philippa Eilhart. Triss has always been a part of their schemes to a certain extent and this is apparent in the first Witcher game where Geralt caught Triss♋💜 talking to someone from the Lodge.
Being a nosy mutant, Geralt did inquire what Triss' magical call was all about, but the sorceress simply swept the query under the rug and proceeded to distract Geralt. Triss will do this again to Geralt in The Witcher 2 to a lesser extent by withholding Lodge information from him. At least Yennefer was blunt and honest enough about manipulating Gওeralt.
9 ൲ SHE DIDN'T CONSIDER༒ CIRI
This one is quite weird and will only happen if Geralt commits to Triss as a romantic partner in The Witcher 3. Because in the books, the canon family of destiny is Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri. The three of them would have made it work as a family bound not by blood but by the sword of destiny, so🃏 to speak.
The third game basically lets you take Yennefer out of the equation and replace her with Triss. The problem with that is Triss treats Ciri as her little sister especially in the books an♚d the canon lore. Even the third game pays homage to this. Of course, Ciri ta🧔kes it like a champ and goes along with it, but that doesn't mean the awkwardness is gone completely, with Triss shamelessly putting her feelings for Geralt above Ciri's discomfort.
8 SHE WORKED WITH THE NOVIGRAD🍌 UNDERWORLD 🦂
The Novigrad underworld is co🌟mprised of four criminal or military factions working to keep Novigrad a free city. As such, a huge part of them is comprised of scum and gangs with the whole city in their pockets. They have also committed some cruel crimes and treacheries that wo🦩uld have made court politics look like a cakewalk.
Triss, sadly, has no choice but to ally herself with one of them, namely the King of Beggars. While he's one of the least dangerous or volatile among the four crime bosses of Novigrad, it's worth noting that Triss still worked for criminals and helped further their cause, possibly leading to innocent de🎶aths or other casualties.
7 ﷺ SHE WANTED TO ESCAPE WITH GERALT WITHOUT CLE﷽ARING HIS NAME
Geralt was at his most vulnerable back in the second Witcher game where he was framed for a regiciℱde involving Letho killing King Foltest. This pretty much brought the whole world down against Geralt's neck-- something he would not have survived if not for the help of Vernon Roche and other allies, including Triss.
However, just as Geralt was making steady progress in chasing Letho and clearing his name, Triss' escapist tendencies start kicking in. She even asked Geralt to abandon the goal and escape together somewhere far away. This happens around 1/3 of the main quest in The Witcher 2. As Geralt, you can agree or disa🐻gree but Triss won't be able to carry 𓃲out her spontaneous goal regardless.
6 SHE MADE PLANS WI🦩TH GERALT WITHOUT CONSULTING HIM 🌞
It seems Triss is quite aware of Geralt's propensity to 💖go along his own merry way. That's probably one of the reasons why Triss never mentioned to the witcher that she was planning for both of them to retire in Kovir, living a slow an🐟d uneventful life, far away from their friends.
This notably happened in The Witcher 3 when Triss was performing hydromancy to detect Philippa Eilhart. Geralt caught her and Triss confessed that she had already made a decision for both of them to retire in Kovir. It's not as bad as some of the more deceptive acts she did on this list - it's actually quite thoughtful in hindsight, but Geralt should at least have had a hand in formulating the 🅘big decision.
5 🎃 HER DRUNKEN KISS WITH GERALT
Come The Witcher 3, Geralt and Triss have already been broken up for months after their intense relationship in the first and s🍸econd games. However, it seems Triss's feelings for Geralt remain the same. This manifested itself quite cinematically during one quest where Geralt has to help Triss smuggle the magic-users out of Novigrad.
Triss apparently had too much wine and started letti🍸ng Geralt chase her until their little playful hedge maze rendezvous turned into arguably the most romantic scene in the third game. Triss let all her inhibitions go in this section of the quest and rekindled something with Geralt, depending on y🧔our choices, of course.
4 🧜 SHE READ GERALT'S MIND
Triss is notably more invasive and aggressive in the first𒁏 game (and a lot more like Yennefer). She even had a different appearance and voice actress at that point, essentially making her an entirely different character. Anyway, during one of Triss's manipulation tactics for Geralt, she had to delve into the witcher's mind.
This wouldn'ജt have been a problem, but Geralt was actually asleep when she did this and she did it without his consent. Triss pretty much read Geralt's memory and his dreams, including those he forgot due to the amnesia.
3 SHE DID🀅 NOT TELL GERALT ABOU🌜T YENNEFER
Speaking of Geralt's memories, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:there's Yennefer who's a bigger part of his life than Triss ever was. Triss knew this, both from her own m🅷emories and from Geralt's am📖nesiac dreams but still did not regale the witcher with memories of his past lover and essentially his soulmate (destiny and all).
Granted, Geralt's other friends also withheld this information from him, fearing what it might bring to Geralt but they were well away from the witcher for most of the game. Triss, meanw🌃hile, was frequently by Geralt's side, especially in the second game. Still, she did not tell him about Yennefer.
2 💫 SHE BETRAYED YENNEF🔴ER
It's one thing to betray Geralt, but betraying your best friend is a whole new can of worms entirely. Triss did that without much hesitation and betrayed her best friend, Yennefer. The two of them have long known each other since meeting as younger sorceresses and are close by the time of the first Witcher book.
This also isn't exactly the first time Triss betrayed her best friend. In the books, she has craved Geralt since she first saw him with Yennefer and eventually got around to casting a spell on him to make him 🉐enamored with her. The two went on to continue this fake relationship until the spell wore off and Geralt broke off his brief tryst with Triss.
1 SHE TOOꦓK ADVANT𒁏AGE OF GERALT'S AMNESIA
By far, this is Triss's worst crime in the Witcher games. It began as early as the first game where Geralt's amnesia practically became a huge opportunity for Triss to not only ensnare Geralt but also create some fabricated memories with him, posing as his old lover and taking 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Yennefer's place while she lies in pain somewhere.
It was not only cruel but selfiಞsh too since Triss betrayed the two people clo🔯sest to her just for a romance built on the foundation of lies and mistrust. For some people, this is enough as a dealbreaker for Triss, even though she more or less redeemed her character in Novigrad.
