The recent one-two-punch that has been 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Witcher 3 and the recent Netflix show has cemented the series as a force to be reckoned with. This once-obscure collection of Polish fantasy novels turned video games has now reached heights of popularity that have diehards worried as more and more ce🌳lebrate the Netflix adaptation as one of 🍸TV's best.
And with popularity comes memes - for better or for worse. Fear not, we have plowed through the landfill that is the internet and have stumbled upon 10 memes that do the series and our favorite witcher 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Geralt of Rivia justice. We hope you enjoy!
10 Geralt Of H𝐆unk-ia ꧙
My goodness is actor Henry Cavill good-looking. So by extension, Geralt of Rivia is now a beefcake. Like geez, give us guys a chance Henry, especially when the guy you're playing is supposed🙈 to be a pale, scar ridden mutant who looks like he's sta🔥rving half the time.
Don't get us wrong, Geralt in the books and video games has some of꧒ that old' fashion farmer muscle from all the hands-on work he does. But he's far from the macho man that Cavill is in the Netflix series. Oviously, female fans don't watch the series just to catch a glimpse of his pecs, but it's a nice bonus.
9 🍒 Certified Banger
Man, we were hearing about this song and seeing memes littered all over twitter before we could even finish episode one - and boy is it a banger. The song, "Oh, Valley Of Plenty" makes it's debut in the second episode and has since become the anthem of Witcher fans across the globe.
It gets off to a slow start with our main man Jaskier whipping out his lute to grace our ears with the tune t൩hat has swept the world. It starts off slow too, but when it gets going, it really gets going. It might be one of the best tunes in the entirety of the series and that's saying a lot.
8 ⛎ Game Of Thrones Vs. The Witcher
Fandom is simultaneously a great and terrible thing because as soon as something gets popular it's time to put it in the ring against its contemporaries. When The Witcher 3 came out people were putting it up against Skyrim (which it's clear🐲ly superior to and this is coming from a fan of💞 both).
And now with the Netflix series, it's time for The Witcher to take on the king of television fantasy, Game of Thrones. It's still way too early to say whether Netflix's new series will one day sit atop the Iron Throne, but with that stinker of a last season GOT dropped it's very much possible.
7 ꩵ We'll Call Him A Late Bl🦩oomer
Any gamers who played the original back in 2007 have to still be dumbfounded with the success that it h♛as found with the third game and now the Netflix series. We mean, just look at things up there - no, not the beefcake - but that duck-faced ve🦩rsion of the witcher we've all come to know and love.
Let us reiterate, that game came out in 2007... The same year that Halo 3, Bioshock, Portal, Modern Warfare, Mass Effect, and Super Mario Galaxy came out. Witcher (2007) was not a bad game by any stretch of the means, but no one, not a 💝single person could've envisioned what it would become today.
6 🧸 Name A Better Duo
Netflix fans see Geralt and Jaskier, gaming fans see Geralt and Dandelion, and "real fans" not only see both, but also Ron Swanson and Jean-Ralphio from sitcom Parks and Recreation. It's a pretty funn𝓀y meme in the sense that the relationship between Jean-Ralphio and R⛦on Swanson is very comparable to Geralt and his troublesome friend.
Well, Ron probably would never use 🌸the word "friend" to describe his relationship between him and Jean-Ralphio. But the level of annoyance by their counterparts is certainly shaℱred between him and the witcher. We're just here waiting for the inevitable crossover when Ron and Geralt face-palm simultaneously.
5 🤪 Harry Potter Or GOT?
Movies and television are a major point of contention among nerds - but real ones - like Henry Cavill, know the king of all franchises is Lord of The Rings. Back to The Future, Toy Story and The Twilight Saga (ok, maybe not that one) are all suitable picౠks as well.
But when it comes to all things fantasy there's onജly one answer that will g💧et you all the street cred with the nerds. The funny part is Cavill was definitely not virtue signaling when asked this question, he's more like, "c'mon bruh, do you even need to ask?"
4 It꧒'s The Simple Things In Life...
You don't need to be 𝕴a hunk like Henry Cavill to understand that life is best when it's boiled down to the simple things. Whether that be some movies and popcorn on a Saturday night, moonlit walks on the beach with a significant other or pumping some serious iron in the gym to get some ripped pecs and biceps - we're oping for the last one.
Cavill even went in detail about his workouts which aren't even as over the top as you might think. It's all about consistency and eating as health༒y as you can, so stick to those new year's resolutions and you'll be shredded in no time.
3 C♋ommon Item Huh? ✨
Ah, there's prob🧸ably no meme on this list that made us laugh more than this one. Is it because Yennefer's room key is listed as a common item or because it ends with "Slavic folk music stops?" It's all those things and more, plus Geralt's menacing death st⭕are is the icing on top.
It's funny too because Yennefer is the type of person that is so high maintenance that you wouldn't see anyon꧋e trying to woo her with her. Geralt himself only got with the 𝔉witch because he risked his life and was tied together by faith with her. Good luck trying to replicate something like that.
2 ꦉ Happy Sword, M♌ean Geralt
This is one of those cute observations that once you see you just won't ever unsee. It's like the arr༺ow in-between the Fedex logo or the "31" in the Baskin Robins sign, the list goes on. There are some really great sword designs in the game and most, if not all of them have some sort of unique handle.
So it's cool that the show decided to get creative with the weapons and make a sword that has had the internet talking for weeks now. Hopᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚefully, we'll see different swords implemented in the future and the usage of runes as well.
1 🥀 A Witcher Series Classic
And what better way to end this list off than with a classic. Sure this isn't the original version, but as long as you have a Roach on a roof and a disappไointed Geralt on the ground we count it. If you haven't played the games you might not෴ understand that the game utilizes a whistling mechanic that brings your horse to you from anywhere on the map.
Sometimes this could mean Ro💟ach 🔯spawning on mountains or glitching through the roofs of peasant's houses. We at TheGamer team haven't seen him on the roof, but boy have we seen our fair share of Roach shenanigans, and that's why we love him.
