7 🐓 Exhaustion
A misconception that many players have is that their characters are machines. They believe that they can continue to fight and fight without rest. They believe that, so long as their hit points don't dip below zero, they're invincible - but they are wrong. Continuous fighting has a far more dangerous effect than a dwindling health pool: Exhaustion.
Just as in real life, a player character needs rest to regain health as well as restore used Spell Slots. Should a player not experience a long rest, or suffer from the effect of a spell or environmental Hazard, they can experience a myriad of detriments depending on the level of Exhaustion. In combat, being able to locate your enemy is incredibly crucial. After all, you can't kill what you can't see. That's why foes capable of hiding themselves or turning invisible are incredibly difficult for even large and experienced parties to handle. Without a direct line of sight, fighting can become incredibly challenging, so, what would happen if sight was no longer a factor.
The Blinded condition is one of the more straightforward in D&D, yet also one of the most troublesome. It removes the vision of those affected by it. Blinded creatures immediately fail all ability checks that require sight and all attacks made by this creature are made at disadvantage. To make things worse, all attacks made against said creature are made with advantage as the afflicted creature can hardly defend themselves against what they can't see.
5 Paralysis
Movement is incredibly useful when attempting to get the edge on a foe. The party's ability to move around the battlefield to gain an advantage. There is nothing worse than being pinned down and unable to flee. That is, nothing except for being literally pinned down and helpless against the onslaught of an enemy.
The Paralysis effect is very much like being Grappled. The affected creature is stripped of their Action and Reaction and they are incapable of speech or movement. In addition, those affected immediately fail all Strength and Dex✤terity Saving throws, and all attacks against that creature are made with advantage. Any attack that lands become a critical hit should the attacker be within five f♏eet of the paralyzed target.

The legend of the werewolf exists in almost all cultures across the world. The story of a man shifting 🤡into a monstr🤪ous wolf under the light of the full moon has terrified and thrilled generations of children and adults alike. So much so that the curse of lycanthropy found its way into D&D.

Upon failing a Constitution Saving Throw, the curse sets within the afflicted creature, sending them on a spiraling descent against their new inner beast. There are benefits to tꦏhis curse, however. Immunity to all non-silvered and magical weapons as well as a booღst in strength and, of course, their were-form - though, for most, constantly fighting against their inner monster is not worth these benefits.
3 Charmed
While a sword can inflict physical harm, attacks on the mind can be just as deadly and harder to defend against. Many players see more of a threat in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:enemies like dragons or other monsters with raw, destructive power, but some of the most difficult fights come from creatures✤ l𒈔ike succubi and vampires that can twist the mind.
There are many levels to the Charmed effect, but the core function of it remains the same. It strips away the affected target's free will. Those that become charmed become 'friendly' towards the caster and more susceptible to their whims. The stronger the charm effect, the greater the influence. At higher levels, charmed individuals can be convinced to turn against their party.

However, death is not the end for these unfortunate souls as they are reborn as red or green slaadi and forced to conform to the chaotic horde. The only known way to relieve someone of this condཧition is the Wish spell.

There are few ways to fall under the terrifying effects of petrification. Regardless of the cause, the results of petrification remain the same.

The creature, while not technically dead, is considered incapacitated and are left unaware of their surroundings.
