God of War is now a card game, and it looks great!
We all know that 2018's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:God of War was a fantastic experience that deserves all the praise it got (and it got quite a bit). It's so good, in fact, that the game has already spawned its own tabletop spinoff.
It's called God of War: The Card Game, and it basically retells the story of God of War in paper form. You have the same characters, same enemies, same fantastic mythical Norse narrative, but instead of ♏experiencing it through screens and plastic controllers, you experience it through cไards and paper.
The game is a cooperative strategy game where between 1-4 players set out on a series of escalating quests that eventually ends with defeating a boss. The quests are created using a tree system by selecting various quest cards. You start with the first quest, then you get to choose between two quests at the s🃏econd stage, and finally, you choose between three bosses to defeat in the final stage.
Progression is very similar to the game, with first-level quests pitting you against trash mo👍bs, second-level quests are minibosses, and third-tier quests being against named bo🌞sses like Baldur, Magni and Modi, or Hraezlyr.
Playing out each❀ quest involves building a "scene" using yet more cards. Each scene forms both a picture and a playing🐭 area where you place your tokens throughout the quest. Each card features either items or enemies to either fight of collect. Once that card has been interacted with, the card flips over to mark its completion.
Each player has their own personal deck of cards and builds up their deck throughout the game. They also take on the role of one of 6 different characters, including Mimir, Atreus, Kratos, Freya, and the two dwarves, Brok and Sindri. Each character has their own🧜 unique set of abilities to help the team complete each quest and defeat the final boss.
