Hyrule Warriors was not 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Legend of Zelda game fans were expecting to show up on the Wii U. That doesn’t mean it was bad by any stretch, but ⛎instead surprising. It was the first time Nintendo collaborated with Koei Tecmo 🌱on a Dynasty Warriors type crossover.

Since then they also helped make Fire Emblem Warriors. What Nintendo franchise will come after the Hyrule Warriors sequel? Whose to say, but a bigger question isཧ what problems will be solved in the sequel? Let’s go th🦄rough everything that made the original great and how it will hopefully be improved.

10 Love: Character Roster

A gameplay screenshot from Hyrule Warriors

The one thing these Dynasty Warriors games get right is player variety. The same holds true for Hyrule Warriors. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Link is the star here, as always, but he’s accompanied by a long list of friends and enem✤ies all across the series along with some righteous newcomers.

There are some characters that could have been better, but oveღral🀅l the majority of the cast is fun to play.

9 Fix: Character Movement

A gameplay screenshot from Hyrule Warriors

Movement, on the other hand, is lacking. Some characters are okay, but others, like Midna, take forever to get going. Adding in a faster run animation in the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Hyrule Warriors sequel would be much obliged.

There ar🉐e Owl Statues to make zipping around the map better but they too are problematic. Being able to wa♕rp to captured bases, as small as that sounds, would fix a lot.

8 Love: Character Swapping

Being able to go into a battle and swap characters is a fairly new feature in this long running franchise. One of the first big ones was Samurai Warriors on 3DS so the feature is almost a decade old.

Still, 𒅌some newer games don’t have this functionality built in so whenever it’s here, it is welcomed. Anyway, being able😼 to order multiple companions to strategic places on the map is the key to achieving victory.

7 Fix: Character AI

A gameplay screenshot from Hyrule Warriors

Unfortunately, if you’re not controlling a character 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:in Hyrule Warriors, whether or 🐠not that strategic placement will be beneficܫial is a toss-up. If one orders them to attack a specific enemy they will do so.

If one orders them to a base in order to capture it they won’t. They may fight enemies there, but the AI was not smart enough to capture them. Hopefully, the sequel adds better 🥂tactical options and AI.

6 Love: Bosses

A gameplay screenshot from Hyrule Warriors

One of the most unique aspects of Hyrule Warriors that made it stand out from Dynasty Warriors and itsᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ other spinoffs were the bosses. From King Dodongo to The Imprisoned, these larger than life battles were a sight to be seen.

This made fans believe it to be a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:true Zelda game even if it was a bit repetitive in nature. The bosses added a lot of spice to maps along with celebratin♏g the serꦇies as a whole.

5 Fix: Battle Length

A gameplay screenshot from Hyrule Warriors

Overall the battles take way to𓃲o long and the bosses don’t help. Playing with a friend can make them go by quicker, but be🌳cause the movement speed is slow along with the operations taking forever to unlock, it can drag on.

More bite-sized adventures would be appreciated. There is a mode for that in Hyrule Warriors, which is appreciated, but this complaint is aimed specifically🐠 at the stoꦺry campaign.

4 Love: Music

A gameplay screenshot from Hyrule Warriors

Dynasty Warriors loves its rock music to get the blood flowing and the same holds true for Hyrule Warriors. There are some original compositions in this game, but the key🌳 sta🍸rs here are the remixes from the series’ classic themes.

More variety in the future would be appreciated, perhaps with not all 🐲rock versions, but again, the soundtrack is great. The remastered version on Switch only made this💝 more so.

3 Fix: Add Voices

A gameplay screenshot from Hyrule Warriors

One aspect of the soundtrack, or sound mixing, that was missing from Hyrule Warriors were voices. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Breath of the Wild was the first main game to add them in, except f🦄or Link which was fine𝔍.

Af𓃲ter the 80s cartoon, it might be best to keep his dialogue to grunts. For the others though, it was rough. Watching cutscenes as text felt like so♋mething far out of place as if one was playing a Nintendo 64 game.

2 Love: Fan Service

A gameplay screenshot from Hyrule Warriors

By this point, it must be obvious that even though this is primarily a Dynasty Warriors game in tone, it very much celebrates 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Legend of Zelda series 🐓in a big way from the big cast to the story to the music, gaꦫllery, and everything in-between.

Even gamers that don’t traditionally like Dynasty Warriors games enjoyed Hyrule Warriors because of the fan service. Since the sequel is focused on one of the series’ best, it may get even 🥃more people on board.

1 Fix: Multiplayer

A gameplay screenshot from Hyrule Warriors

Right now Nintendo has already announced that 🍸the sequel will feature local co-op only. This is how the original was handled as well. This is a shame so it may seem futile to put it on the list.

However, patches can change a lot of things. If enough people complain, Nintendo and Koei Tℱecmo may cave and add in online co-op. This is the pandemic season after all.
