Ava is a committed activist in Green Storm who is used by David as an in for the group. He needs her to vouch for him, and they form a hectic but strong bond as a result. Ava, confusingly, wants to cease working with Green Storm once she finds out she’s pregnant, as she wants to form a family with David. He,✤ however, then leaves her, citing the FBI being after him as the reason he can’t stay with her.
Maxine is a cam girl that David has watched during this timeframe with Green Storm, forming an unhealthy attachment to her that culminates in him threatening to track her down after Ava and Emma are out of the picture, and Maxine using video she has of him as blackmail.
