It is really hard to care about a story when the protagonist doe☂s not feel alive. It is hard to connect to Cahal because he does not feel like a real person. Not only are his facial expressions are not expressive at all, his voice barely conveys any emotion.
When witnessing the terrible combination of his monotone voice and terrible visual display of 🌜emotions, it is hard to remember why one should care about what is going on. After all, the main character does not seem to care either.

The plot will seem convoluted and complicated to anyone who is not familiar with W🌊erewoﷺlf: The Apocalypse. When it comes to the writing, Earthblood did not care much about explaining the rich concepts and lore behind everything that is happening in the game.
Al🔯though it is not one of the most complicated video game stories, it certainly has a lot going on for those who don't know the lore. Many different terms will be thrown at the player, who will be expected to quickly connect many new concepts. That might be aꦕppr🦩eciated by fans of the franchise, but it also alienates gamers who do not know it well.

The game does not look great. It is not terrible at all, but it will ♓not impress anyone. It might be very disappointing for Werewolf: The Apocalypse fans, but it hits harder on those who do not know the franchise. Graphics help sell the game, and to those who do not care about the lore, it might be hard to feel invested in a game with PS3 graphics.
It would not be a terrible🌠 characteristic of the game on its own, but once combined with the others, it does add up. Whenও the gameplay and the story are captivating, bad graphics can be easily ignored. Unfortunately, this is not the case for Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood.
7 𝔍 ℱ The Stealth Sections Might Be The Best Part Of The Game
It is a bit odd to have a Werewolf: The Apocalypse g🔯ame with better-developed stealth than combat. Entering wolf form to sabotage the enemies and silently take them down is indeed fun. The game design allows players to treat some areas of the game as a puzzle. Ther🃏e are sections of the game that can be completely beaten in stealth mode.
It might not be what some long-time fans were expecting when they started playing Earthblood, though. It would have been a greatꦜ addition to the game if all the rest worked well. Sadly, this is not the case.
6 The Combat Is Disappointing 🦩
Changing to Crinos form and slashing through Fomorians in a modern video game would be any Werewolf: The Apocalypse fan's dream. However, Earthblood delivers a floaty Crinos, dated gameplay, and fails to sell the power-fantasy of being a ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚmassive, heavy beast.
The game does throw many easy-to-kill human enemies at the player and portrays well the size o🐓f Crinos form, but everything else about it seems off. Most fights will end up with pl🐠ayers just mashing through them.
5 Glabro And Hispo Form Were Left O✅ut
Crinos form was given two stances in Earthblood, an agile stance and one that deals more damage. That was a wasted opportunity. Werewolves from the World of Darkness can also access the Glabro form, which is a near-human werewolf form. The other form they can access is🃏 called Hispo, and it looks like an enormous dire wolf.
The develo🌺pers could have used the dire wolf transformation, instead of the agile stance. Having Cahal changing between many different forms during combat would have looked great. Either way, this is a letdown for t🌱hose who expected a proper representation of a Garou's power.
4 ꦅ Most Bosses Are Werewolves
Werewolves are among the most powerful beings of the World of Darkness, so it might make sense to have others of the sam♍e species as a challenge. However, there are so many other entities, corrupted spirits, and species in that world that could pose a threat. A Black Spiral Dancer is a fine boss, but when half of the boss battles are against other were𓆏wolves, some people might consider it dissatisfying.
If all bosses were corrupted spirits, they could take any form the developers wanted. The ꦬbattles could have been much more interesting and visually distinct. Although it might have been a maꦦtter of budget, it does not change the fact that facing several werewolves ends up being underwhelming.
3 The Bosses Are Fun, But Not Enough 𝔍
Although the combat is not great, the bosses do provide a change of pace and a somewhat engaging challenge. They are not🃏 mind-blowing, and they are not enough to make this game good, but at least the combat against them is not boring.
Playing through this game might be a chore, and bosses might feel like a compensation prize for putting up with the uninteresting level design. Some gamers might be relieved to know that, at least, Earthblood is not a hilariou💖sly bad game.
2 The Gameplay Is Very Repetitiv🎀e ♉
The tabletop RPG has many different kinds of werewolves. They have different tribes, rich lore, spiritual protectors, and so many unique abilities. Unfortunately, almost nothing translatꦺed to the gameplay. Earthblood is mostly🔯 just fighting, and then looking for the next fight.
Players are limited to stealth sections that many times turn into a fight section. Changing into Crinos form and brainlessly hitting the enemies seems to be the vast majority of the game. The wolf form is just a function to walk quic꧅ker during stealth sections, but they can be easily ignored. The ♔dialogue is unappealing, and the choices do not provide any significant change.

This game does not appeal to Werewolf fans, and it does not appeal to gamers in general. As an action game, it is poorly designed and very dull. As a Were♌wolf: The Apocalypse game, it does not manage to capture the feel of being a𝄹 Garou.
This game might work as a guilty pleasure to those who just wanted to control a Crinos in a videogame. However, for anyone who is not emotionally attached to the franchise, this will most likely be a forgettable experience at best. And, if you just like werewolves, there ar𝔉e other games that might be more inte🌳resting.
