Once you're in Windhill Shores, head toward the marker to find a Magic Circle Trace on the ground near the shoreline. Intera🧸ct wit🎐h the Magic Circle Trace to gather more information, allowing you to continue to the next step of the side quest.

Check For Traces Of The Magic Circle In Kastleton

From here, turn around and head back into Kastleton from the beach of Windhill Shores. Follow the marker to find another Magic Circle Trace on the ground near a boat. A man named Jaydin will be kneeling down in the Magic Circle examining it, too. Just do the sa🌃me to keep the quest moving.

Talk To Jaydin

After examining the second Magic Circle Trace, speak with Jaydin, the Kastleton Guard, who was also looking it over when you arrived. Exhaust the dialogue with Jaydin to complete this step of the quest, leading you directly to ღtꦬhe final part of The Truth About Back Alleys.

Follow Arkeum's Trail

Finishing your conversation with Jaydin, follow the marker further into Kastleton to find a Cat-Shaped Magic Circle. Interact with this unique Magic Circle to complete this quest. From here, walk slightly forward to trigger a cutscene showing a suspicious cat running into Kastleton; follow the cat in to begin Suspicious Track.

How To Complete Suspicious Track In Throne And Liberty

Suspicious Track is the continuation of The Truth About Back Alleys side quest in Throne and Liberty. It begins as you follow the suspicious cat into Kastleton after looking over the Cat-Shaped Magic Circle. After following the cat inside, it will mysteriously be gone as if it vanished into thin air, having you look around for clues and attempt to lure it out.

Listen To The Talking Villagers

With the suspicious cat seemingly gone in the blink of an eye, you must get information. Luckily for you, there will be three Talking Villagers directly to the left speaking about the cat and how strange it has been behaving lately. Walk up to the fishing nets and eavesdrop on their conversation to continue the quest.

Look For Fresh Fish And Place It On The Road

Directly across from the three Talking Villagers will be Fresh Fish underneath a canopy. Grab one of the fish and then place it on the road to lure the suspicious cat out. After placing the fish on the road, head back to where you initially grabbed the fish and hide behind the box there to catch the cat, wh🌄ich will run a bit forward, see💯mingly vanishing once more.

Talk To The Distressed Wizard

Now that the cat has seemingly vanished yet again, a Distressed Wizard will appear, speak with them, and exhaust their dialogue to eventually be turned into a small yet extremely adorable mouse. This Morph will allow you to tail the suspicious cat more stealthily, enabling you to see its true intentions.

Follow The Suspicious Cat

Since you're now a tiny mouse, you will be tailing the cat while being substantially more discreet than before. However, there will be beartraps you must avoid, and you can't stay out in the open for long, as the cat will spot you, resetting your progress.

Wait for the cat to move forward and then quickly run behind the stack of boxes in the center of the pathway. You will see a series of boxes to your left, stacked in a straight line leading toward the exit. After the cat moves forward a bit more, speedily move behind these boxes and follow them to the end.

There will be a sizable gap between where you are now and the following stack of boxes you must move to, so wait until the cat moves beyond the next series of boxes before running across to them. After the cat passes underneath the alcove, tail slowly behind it until it runs off to the right. Race after it to see it meet up with two other cats, triggering a brief cutscene.

Defeat The Arkeum Legion

Surprise, the suspicious cat was actually a member of the Arkeum Legion, and it just met up with two more members. Despite their scary presence, this encounter isn't too challenging, and you should be able to make quick work of them if you're at least Level 10 (which you likely will be by now).

Defeating the three Arkeum Legion members will have Jaydin appear, allowing you to speak with him once more to finish this long-winded side quest and obtain the last of your rewards!
