N𒀰ow, if you come across a Thunderbolts poster, it will most likely read the film's real name: The New Avengers. Marve♐l has fully unveiled this new name, replacing advertisements and sharing it around on social media, so it's all pretty unavoidable.
Thunderbolts Spoilers Are Everywhere, Even In Ads
This name change is, in fact, revealed at the very♛ end of the film, so anyone who saw it before the posters started to change would have got to experience this twist first-hand. The rest of us, though? I guess we just know that going in now.
With that said, the fact that there was a name change is not all that surprising. Thunderbolts' loဣgo was stylised with an asterisk at the end, indi🍌cating that this was just a working title for the group, and that they would be called something else in-universe. So, revealing their real nam♏e was always part of the plan, it's just that its execution has rubbed some people online the wrong way.
