Tifa Lockhart is considered by many to be the first lady of Final Fantasy franchise and she recently returned to mainstream attention in Final Fantasy VII Remake. It's easy to recreate her combat style in Dungeons & Dragons, as there are an a🌳bundance of magical monks in💯 the game.
Tifa is one of the members of AVALANCHE in Final Fantasy VII, which constantly puts her at odds with the Shinra Corporation. She takes part in bombing missions, in order to destroy the Mako reactors that power the city of Midgar. Tifa and AVALANCHE eventually change their focus and pursue Sephiroth, as he intends to destroy the world by crashing a meteor into it. She is skilled in martial arts and will punch enemies into the afterlife, even if they are giants or made of metal (or both). Like the other Final Fantasy VII party members, Tifa can use Materia in order to add magic spells to her repertoire. Her skill set and powers can be replicated in Dungeons & Dragons, for those who adore Final Fantasy VII Remake and want to step into her boots for a campaign.
The version of Tifa that we have created uses material from the Player's Handbook. Tifa is a non-variant human monk, who takes on the Way of the Four Elements Monastic Tradition when she reaches level three. Using the basic stat spread listed on page 13 of the Player's Handbook and taking her race into consideration, Tifa's starting stats would be STR 11, DEX 16, CON 13, INT 9, WIS 14, and CHA 15. Charisma is usually considered to be a dump stat for monks, but Tifa's beauty is one of the defining aspects of her character and it shapes how other people react to her, espec♚ially in Midgar.
Tifa's 💙background would be Acolyte, in order to reflect the time she spent training under Zangan in Nibelheim. Her starting skills would be Acrobatics, Insight, Religion, and Stealth. If the variant Feat rules are used, then she would benefit fr🃏om Athlete, Charger, Grappler, or Sentinel.
In terms ofಞ alignment, Tifa would best suit Neutral Good. The reason for this is because she is the party member who questions the methods used by AVALANCHE. Barret and Cloud only show moments of remorse for the bombing missions that resulted in the loss of innocent lives, while Tifa shows genuine reticence to take part in them, and she feels remorseful at the human cost of her actions.
In Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII Remake, Tifa's combat abilities & limit breaks are linked to water, as well as bashing enemies from a distance with air. Once Tifa reaches level three as a monk, she will take on the Way of the Four Elements school, giving her access to several different Elemental Disciplines over the course of her run. She gets 🔯the Elemental Attunement power for free at level three, and she should take Shape the Flowing River at the same time. Tifa will take Water Whip at level six, Fist of Unbroken Air at level eleven, and Breath of Winter at level seventeen.
In terms of playstyle, Tifa is the standard Dex-focused monk, who concentrates on slamming enemies with flurries of attacks. When she has the Ki points, she can add elemental ice and water attacks to her blows for extra damage. Tifa demonstrates amazing strength in the games and Advent Children, but the monk's Martial Arts feature makes this redundant for a D&D character. In Final Fantasy VII Remake, Tifa is a super agile characte🌠r who piles on the damage, which is something that the D&D monk class excels✃ at.
Monks have been a part of the Final Fantasy series since the beginning, and some of its most beloved characters have belonged to the class, such as Sabin and Snow. Tifa might best be remembered for two big reasons, but there is more to the character than physical attractiveness and a provocative outfit. Tifa leads AVALANCHE during its darkest hour and is responsible for saving the lives of her teammates on numerous occasions. There are some who might consider her devotion to Cloud to be a weakness, but it's her love for him (and for Denzel & Marlene in Advent Children) that acts as her strength. Tifa is the mother figure of AVALANCHE in many ways, especially following the events in the Forgotten City, and she helps to keep the group together. It would be easy to recreate this type of character in Dungeons & Dragons, and many adventuring parties would benef🦂it from having their own Tifa among the 𒆙group.
