Before going on, it is worth noting that the puzzles in Tomb Raider games prior to the Survivor Trilogy were often smaller affairs that normally revolved around getting from A to B. Because of this, these levels will be taken in their entirety and treated as one larger puzzle. In Rise and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Shadow of the Tomb Raider, there are nam𝔍ed and defined puzzle sections to be looked at. With this out 🧸the way, here are the most memorable puzzles that Lara has had to work out.

King Arthur's Tomb: Tomb Raider Legends (2006)

Ironically set beneath a King Arthur museum, this level tasks Lara with exploring the catacombs underneath it to search for his tomb. Although this is a more laid-back level than most on this list, the puzzles laid out across the level are memorable — particularly the flaming floors and traversing the lost medieval 🌃halls themselves.

The soft atmosphere is only brokeꦐn once in this level by the boss fight, which serves to make these puzzles more memorable. They ar🧸e not as unforgiving as others in the series, but they still most definitely stand out.

Mystery Of The White Queen Puzzle: Shadow Of The Tomb Raider (2018)

Coꦕntinuing the theme of peace and quiet on this list, this puzzle takes ꧒place during a flashback segment in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. As is normal with the newer games, the puzzle is a defined event as opposed to a series of mini-puzzles.

It still encapsulates the classic Tomb Raider vibes 🌜with levers, ladders, and dials, but in an iꦿnteresting setting with exciting story beats. All in all, it creates a memorable experience even if it is a slightly easier one.

City Of Khamoon: Tomb Raider (1996)

The City of Khamoon shows off the best of Tomb Raider platforming, which in turn leads to this entire level essentially being one 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:gigantic environmental puzzle. There are only a few enemies — instead, the real challenge comes from traversing the level a🔯nd working out the puzzlin🍬g design.

It is memorabl💎e for both this and the wide-open spaces by which Lara can explore. Even working out your next step in this labyrinth is something of a puzzle in i𓄧tself.

Orrery Puzzle: Rise Of The Tomb Raider (2015)

This puzzle is easily the most challenging of the game, as it requires mastery over the sandbox as well as all of Lara's abilities when it comes to actually solving it. A mechanical map of the universe, the Orrery is a formidable opponent with multiple different stages and levels punctuated by the omnipresent threat of a fall into the abyss looming below.

It is memorable mainly because of its design — it is unlike any puzzle Lara has come across before or🐭 since. Also, its striking and almost foreboding look is particularly unforgettable when coupled൩ with the challenge that it represents.

Aldwych: Tomb Raider 3 (1998)

Now we reach the point in the list at which we encounter puzzles that are memorable for many may consider the wrong reasons. Aldwych has a reputation for being one of the hardest levels in the history of Tomb Raider, and its puzzles are central to this. Set in a London tube station, it contai🌳ns a multitude🃏 of puzzles ranging from the environmental drill puzzle to some more traditional puzzles involving depositing an old penny.

The biggest one of all, though, is the puzzle of what to do next. It is unclear, muddled, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:and very difficult. Because of this, it stands out as difficult in an already difficult game. It's particularly memorable for the ensuing frustration, sure. But it's hard to argue with the feeling of euphoria once you have finally beaten it.

Syria: Rise Of The Tomb Raider (2015)

Forming the introductory puzzle of the game, this one requires Lara to get to the top of a structure containing the tomb she wishes to get to. Lara must scale the structure while going through all sorts of obstacles and traps to get there. It is fairly ea🍷sy, but the level of difficulty is not what makes it memorable.

The setting is amongst the best in a Tomb Raider game, and the reward for completing the puzzle is perhaps the b🐈est escape sequence in the series history. The Syrian tomb provides an ext🔥remely strong start to a brilliant game.

Area 51: Tomb Raider 3 (1998)

Area 51 in Tomb Raider 3 provides the perfect blend of challenge, enjoyment, and the widest variety of puzzles seen in a level. And as a bonus, they're all perfectly suited to the environment in which Lara finds herself. These include motion sensors, turrets, lasers, radiation, and more.

The setting and these traps combine to create a memorable puzzle maze in which you never quite know what will be waiting for you around the corner. It's a great combination of factors that, when taken as a whole, make for one of the series' most fondly remembered sequences.
