Lara Croft caught the '90s zeitgeist and became a pop cultural icon. She appeared on magazine covers, TV commercials, and was adapted into movies. She joined the likes of Mario and Sonic as recognisable videogame mascots - but with a difference. Lara Croft seemed to announce gaming's step into a more mainstream and possibly more mature space, one that Sony capitalised on as gaming's demographic shifted in the mid to late 1990s.

Now, to celebrate Tomb Raider's 25th anniversary a variety of Tomb Raider games and add-ons will be going on sale. Players can find discounts on Steam, Humble Bundle, Green Man Gaming, GOG.com, the Square Enix Store, the Xbox Games Store, and PlayStation Store.
