Most of Utada Hikaru's music is also available to listen to, including her epic compositions for Kingdom Hearts III. Yoko Shimomura is best known for her work on Kingdom Hearts and has fast become a legendary composer. 🧸Whether you are familiar with her work or a long time fan, here are some original and covers of both Shimomura's and Utada's best Kingdom Hearts III songs, ranked from highest to lowest.

10 🌊 Face my Fears-ꦐ English Version (Utada Hikaru)

No one was expecting Utada Hikaru to team up with Skrillex for Kingdom Hearts III's opening song. It was different, it was bold, and it was brilliant. As has been the usual case for Kingdom Hearts games, the opening is the exa♔ct same song as the ending𝔉, though more upbeat.

This was not the case for Kingdom Hearts III. Many fans found it 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:hard to digest, at first, but in the end, it was a powerful team-up made even more beautiful by the fact that Skrillex is a Kingdom Hearts fan. As it turns out,🤪 having the opening song be different from the ending worked wel🐲l for the final installment.

9 Face M🍌y Fears- Jaꦜpanese Version (Utada Hikaru)

It may seem weird that the English version of Utada's Face My Fears was more popular on Spotify, but considering th🥂at Skrillex is an American composer, it may make more sense. The Japanese version is not less amazing when compared to the English version, it just cඣomes down to what English speakers are more likely to listen to.

Lyriℱc wise, both versions convey someone stepping out beyond their boundaries to face their fears, but the Japanese version includes the line "the seas aren't far away", calling back to Destiny Islands if one is willing to take that leap.

8 Dearly Beloved (TPR) ⭕ ✱

Dearly Beloved is by far the most popular Kingdom Hearts song, but when strictly looking at Kingdom Hearts III, it just can't beat Utada's Face My Fears, either version. The key menu song for all Kingdom Hearts' games, not only 🐼the major console versions, Dearly Beloved is a composition that will no doubt tug at the heartstrings of long-time fa💦ns.

It's a song that can instantly bring tears to the eyes because of the powerful, nostalgic weight it has carried over the years. TPR's 168澳洲幸运🍃5开奖网:version is reminiscent of Kingdom Hearts I -- simple and clean, soft and airy, like music being carried ov💛er the ocean.

7 Don't Think Twice (Utada Hikaru) 🔴

Sora and Kari

The English ending song for Kingdom Hearts III, Don't Think Twice, completed the three major game's themes of two people finding love. As it's been speculated all these years, Simple And Clean was about two people meeting and falling in love, Passion/Sanctuary was about the long time relationship and feeling close to each other, and finally, Don't Think Twice is about the final commitment.

Because Sora and Kairi🌞 finally get to share the paopu fruit they've been dreaming about for years, Don't Think Twice was a beautiful conclusion to the Dark Seeker saga. It's another Utada Hikaru Classic.

6 Roxas/The Other Promise (Project Destati) ▨

Oddly, following Don't Think Twice in popularity wasn't Chikai, but Roxas' Theme by Project Destati. One🐎 of the most well known Kingdom Hearts 🃏cover artists, Project Destati carries most of the weight in this list as the go-to for Spotify Kingdom Hearts music.

Though not quite at the level of Shimomura, Project Destati rivals most Kingdom Hearts cover artists on Spotify an👍d their dedication to their music can be seen in their re-imagining of Roxas' Theme.

5 ꩵ Chikai (Utada Hikaru)

Completing all four versions of Kingdom Hearts' main s🐬ongs, Chikai, the Japanese vers꧟ion of Don't Think Twice, makes number six on our list. It wouldn't be fair to say that the English version, despite being more popular on Spotify, is a watered-down version of the Japanese song, but there does seem to be a deeper level of emotion to the Japanese lyrics.

Lines like "a perf🍒ect day for oaths" and "I don't need pretty flowers or witnesses" brings the image of Sora and Kairi being💮 together forever to a perfect close. Afterall, Oathkeeper was originally gained by saving and getting Kairi's lucky charm in the first game.

4 ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ 💝 Xion (Project Destati)

If Roxas' theme was a heartbreaker the first time we heard it, Xion's theme broke souls. Shimomura really pulled out all her tricks for this compositi𒈔on. By far one of the best character themes, it was nothing but spectacular to hear it in the batt♔le between Siax, Roxas, Xion, and Sora.

Project Destati has a lot of fun playing with her theme in their composition, moving fluidly between rolling epic notes to softer, melancholy notes. It showcases perfectly and tugs 🍎at the heartstrings all over again.

3 𒀰 Dearly Beloved (Project Destati) 🍃

Project Destati continues to be a popular choice for listeners, this time with their Dearly Beloved version. Being more orchestrated than TPR's version, their Dearly Beloved beautifully covers various aspects of the song so that almost every version seems to have a place in this unique and origi♒nal composition.

Including a choir to add to the drama, Project Destati continues to prove their excellence in capturing the feel of Kingdom Hearts' most iconic song.

2 🌜 Sora (Pr🎃oject Destati)

Could this list be complete without Sora's Theme? Though not the most well known and popular of the character themes, it is Sora's and, though it does tie for popularity with Project Destati's version of Riku's theme, it just had to go on our list. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:It's Sora after all. Where would this franchise be with📖out the spikey-haired, chosen Keyblade wielder o༒f fate?

It seems likely that after finishing Kingdom Hearts III, Sora still has adventures to go on and hopefully, in the future, Shimomura will play around with his theme a bit more. Until then, we have Project Destati's version, which captures Sora's character and overall mi🐷ssion perfectly.

1 Lazy Afternoon (Liz Robinett) 💟

Perhaps not a likely candidate for this list, or at least not one many may have expected, Lazy Afternoon is the theme for Twilight Town as Roxas in Kingdom Hearts II. And, though it is not a theme found in Kingdom Hearts III, it is very much reminiscent of ཧRoxas, Xioꦫn, and Axel.

Liz Robinett's version is popular not just for the musical composition but for her lyrics. Fans were highly anticipating the moment in Kingdom Hearts III when Roxas would return because of his traumatic past. Robinett's rendition of Lazy Afternoon is a melancholy ballad that embodies Roxas' emotion throughout the❀ game, until the moment when he meets with his friends again. It's a beautiful testament to the character and Robinett's voice is mesmerizing.
