Magic: The Gath😼ering - 10 Great 💙Bracket 3 Commanders

Tဣhese Magic: The Gathering powerhouses fit perfectly into your medium power deck.

Token-based Commander 🌳decks can follow a number of paths, all depending on the commander you pick. If you’re looking for something new or are s🅠truggling to find the perfect fit, we found some of the best token commanders to build around.

10 ꩵ M🔯ondrak, Glory Dominus

Twice The Fun

The card Mondrak, Glory Dominus from Magic: The Gathering.

If you're looking for a pure token deck you might just want to go all in with Mondrak, Glory Dominus. This Phyrexian Horror is a token-doubling trigger you'll always have access to thanks to it hanging out in the Command Zone. If you're worrie🙈d about losing a somewhat more vulnerable source for doubling your tokens, don't worry. You can make it indestrucible by payin𓂃g three mana and sacrificing two tokens.

There are quite a few token-doubling effects in white now, with Elspeth, Storm Slayer and Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation helping 🍌establish a board in no time, along with a few other spells. Once you have one or two of these token-doublers out, you can swarm the board with cards like Secure the Wastes and Martial Coup. While you lack a way to reliably give them haste, you can power up your enchantments with cards like Divine Visitation and Intangible Virtue

9 🍸 Br🤪udiclad, Telchor Engineer

The Layers Go Deep

Brudiclad Telchor Engineer

With a combat trigger to make a 2/1 blue Myr token at the start of your combat, Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer will quickly overwhelm the battlefield with all sorts of tokens, with them rarely looking the same turn after turn. The second part of this trigger is that you can have all your other tokens become a copy of another token you control. So that's your Myrs getting turned into something, and all your Treasure or Clue tokens also swappܫing forms to something new.

You'll spend much of the early game generating little tokens, biding your time until you're able to get a key token out. The main ones you're looking ܫfor are the 'Karn-struct' Const🍨ruct tokens that get +1/+1 for each artifact you control. If you have no other artifacts out and ten little tokens hanging out, you'll have at least ten 11/11s running around since we're including Brudiclad as well.

8 💟 Brenard, Ginger Sculptor ♎

Cook Up A Victory

MTG: Brenard, Ginger Sculptor card

There are a few ways to build Brenard, Ginger Sculptor as a command𒁏er, with one of the most popular and unique one being a Splicer-based deck. There are nine different 'Splicer' creatures in Magic, with them being Human Artificer (for the most part) creatures that make a 3/3 Golem creature token and then grants them some effect like first strike꧂ or trample.

If that isn't satiating your hunger, you can always go in a Food token direction, jamming in all the Food tokens you can to get for maximum pay off. There are a few silly cards that can absolutely win you the game that interact with Food tokens, including Feasting Hobbit, a two mana 2/2 creature that has Devour Food 3, giving it three +1/+1 counters for each Food you sacrifice when it cꩲomes into play. It also can't be blocked by creatures with power less than it, so just give it haste and start swinging in for a very silly win.

7 Jinnie Fay, Jetmir's Second

Upgrade Those Tokens

Taking your tokens and turning theꦐm into something new is one of the better ways to make use of weaker token generators. Anytime you would make a token with Jinnie Fay, Jetmir’s Second out, you can choose to have those tokens become either:

  • 2/2 green Cat creature tokens with haste
  • 3/1 green Dog creature tokens with vigilance

Those tokens can replace everything from Food tokens to other creatures, but since it's a may effect you can control if they do or not. That means if you need some ea✱rly game assistance from a Treasure token, you’re not forced to be stuck with a Dog instead.

Since you have two specific creature types, you can take the ಞdeck into a kindred direction too, focusing one or both creature types since there’s a fair amou♒nt of support for e💦ither of them.

6 Adrix And Nev, Twincasters 🔜

Hope You Like Math

Perhaps the commander with the most potential, the duo of Adrix and Nev💮, Twincasters brings with it an incredible ability that lets you make the most of your tokens. With Adrix and Nev out in play, and you make a token, you make twice ꦆas many of those tokens instead.

This is like having a Doubling Season or Parallel Lives right in the Command Zone, which is an intense 🎀amount of power at your fingertips right at the start of the game. You can make an obscene amount of tokens with Adrix and Nev by combining it with just a few cards, like Helm of the Host for example.

Bracket 4 commanders are🐻 among the most powerful Magic: The Gathering commanders, and here are some of the top🔯 picks for the format.

1

Starting with just one Adrix and Nev equipped with a Helm of the Host will give you two more during the first combat step you have them out. On the next, you get eight tokens since each other token you’ve made of them adds more copies. On the third turn, you’ll have a mind-boggling 2059 nonlegendary copies of Adrix and Nev out on the battlefield, all of which have haste, which should be⛦ more than enough damage to take out all your opponents in one fell swing.

5 Caesar, Legion's Emperor

Give Your Tokens Purpose

Coming fꦇrom the Universes Beyond Fallout set, Caesar, Legion📖’s Emperor is a red, white, and black creature that lets your tokens serve a greater cause. Attacking with Caesar in play triggers his ability, though it requires you to sacrifice a creature to fully use it. You can either:

  • Make two 1/1 Soldier creature tokens that are also tapped and attacking.
  • Draw one card and lose one life.
  • Deal damage to an opponent equal to the number of creature tokens you have.

While you can always reinforce your forces by making🌄 tokens or get a little card advantage with each attack, the most powerful of them is the fin𝄹al ability to deal damage.

4 Marn🅘ಞeus Calgar

For The Emperor

The Magic The Gathering card Marneus Calgar by Slawomir Maniak.

If there’s one word to describe Marneus Calgar, it's ef🅘ficient. He comes loaded with two abilities to help you flood the battlefield with Astartes Warriors and draw your entire deck. The Chapter Master ability costs six mana but makes two 2/2 Astartes Warrior creature tokens with vigilance.

We take a look at the very best MTG Precon꧒ decks for the Commander format.

With the Master Tactician ability, you’ll draw a card when you have one or more tokens come into play.💟 Combine the two abilities with some effect that will let you make mana like Ashnod’s Altar and Pitiless Plunderer, which will net you six mana when you sacrifice them all between the Altar and Treasure tokens. Spend that mana to make more tokens, and you’ll have yourself a situation with near infinite death triggers, card draw, and enter the battlefield effects.

3 Jetmir, Nexus Of Revels 🅺

Triple Your Investments

The more creatures you have out means the more upgrades you’re getting from Jetmir, Nexus of ꦦRevels thanks to h🧔is scaling abilities. The way Jetmir works is that once you hit various creature count thresholds you unlock a new ability.

  • Three or more creatures: All your creatures get +1/+0 and have vigilance
  • Six or more creatures: All your creatures get +2/+0 and have vigilance and trample
  • Nine or more creatures: All your creatures get +3/+0 and have vigilance, trample, and double strike

Jetmir works well with a token strategy since they’re a fas♊t and easy way to generate a lot of creatu🌠res very quickly. Given the amount of addition support from cards like Rabble Rousing and Parallel Lives to let you pump out tokens exceptionally quickly, you'll be hitting that final tier of Jetmir’s in no time.

2 🌄 Baylen, The Haymaker

Put Those Tokens To Work

MTG Baylen, the Haymaker card with the art in the background.

Baylen, the Haymaker offered one of the more unique approaches to a token deck by letting you utilize tokens of all types for their abilities. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Baylen is a Rabbit lets you tap any of your tokens to use them for one of three abilitie𒅌s. You can:

  • Tap two tokens to add one mana of any color.
  • Tap three tokens to draw a card
  • Tap four tokens to put three +1/+1 counters on Baylen and give him trample for the turn.

You have to tap those tokens to use them, so it does limit your ability to use things like Treasure and Clue tokens, but does give you the opporꦕtunity to keep everything open until your last opponent's end step to start using Baylen’s 💛abilities.

1 Chatterfang, Squirrel General 🐓

A Squirrel Infestation

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:A Squirrel kindred deck and a token dec♏🉐k rolled into one, Chatterfang, Squirrel General is an absolute powerhouse on the battlefield. Making a token nets you an extra 1/1 Squirrel token as well. If you make 🤡ten Treasure tokens, you get a bonus ten Squirrels as well.

You can put those Squirrels to work thanks to Chatterfang’s ability, which lets you spend one black mana and to sacrifiꦏce as many Squirrels as you like to give a creature +X/-X. That minus to the toughness lets you destroy any creature on the battlefield so long as you have enough Squirrels out.
