A wheelchꦍair-bound, twitching creature that will stop at nothing to shred you with its claws borrowed from Ve꧋ga of Street Fighter fame. Strangely, not even stairs halt its movement, and if it catches you, you’ll be diced with a three-swiped attack.
You’ll know when one is lurking nearby when you hear the rusted squeaks of wheels turning. Luckily, they are easy to kil🅠l. A few well-placed shots from your nail gun and a hearty whack from a crowbar should be enough to end them.

These deformed torsos scrape themselves along the floor in search of their next victim while their face is hidden under an oxygen mask. Similar in appearance to the wheelchair monsters, but no less nimble, they’ll catch you with ease, and they a𓄧re often encountered in packs.
Whilst getting close to them will nab you some damage from their clawing attacks, the crawlers, annoyingly, have a rather nasty spitting attack which can be quite hard to avoid if you’re not standing outside their line of vision. However, it's always a joy firing into them enough times to make them somersault into the air.
8 The Shadow: It's Everywhere
The most difficult threats of any survival horror are the ones you can’t defeat. The Shadow is one such foe, only in this case you can’t even see it. The shadow is the name given 💎to the darkness that envelopes the entire asylum. Stand too long in it,🦩 and Caroline is dragged to her death after your screen glitches with static - reminiscent of the unique horror effects displayed in Eternal Darkness.
The only way to stav😼e off this fate is to remain in the light. This becomes a challenge when choosing to light an area, as equipping the lighter substitutes any offensive ability. Dangling from a drip stand and hooked to an IV bag, this decrepit hunk of meat will linger silently in any given area. When it spots you, it’ll lug itself towards you using crutches 🐻– its main weapon of attack. These creatures can be quite hard to avoid and standing too close to them will cause them to protrude spikes from their body.

Not a physical enemy, but an environꦚmental trap, you’ll come across these hazards in the form of seemingly possessed suits of armor and iron maidens. These inanimate objects seem to have a mind of their own and standing too long in front of either of them will cut your life in half.
Thankfully, they can be used to your advantage. A more adeptꦜ player can lure a creature into the path of these traps; turning an enemy into an ally and saving precious resourc🐬es.
3 🧸 Floating Monster: An Unstoppable Terror 🔯
A pursuing, invincible monster is no stranger to the survival horror genre. Resident Evil 3 has Nemesis. Tormented Souls has the Floating Monster. T꧒his monster resembles a floating, bloated corpse – not too dissimilar to the ghosts encountered in Silent Hill 4: The Room.
It can appear in any location after discovering it, and it can even pass-through objects. When you hear the game's music score change, you know it's nearby. You can halt its chase with a well-aimed shotgun blast, but it’ll quickly recover. The monster’s horrifying presence is trumped only by the tragic realization of who it was all along.
2 Hazmat ꦆSuits: Hammeꦑring Home The Horror
Locked away in the underground bunker, the hazmat suit beings await your arrival.𝄹 Former humans turned husks, they are armed with giant hammers that they hope to connect with Caroline’s skull. Their sheer size can make it a feat to avoid them, however, they are incredibly slow.
